after we got it set up, it works great! seems to be very sensitive to picking up the sounds for the mic part and earphone seems to be loud and clear. it's very light weight and plastic but it's nice for those long playing sessions. very happy indeed!*** edited 8/25/13 *** just last week while putting it on the ear piece broke =( it DOES still work, just minus the ear piece and so the item itself then becomes non-functional. We just cheat and wear a large pair of headphones with the cupped ear pieces and stick it in there and use it anyway LOL but we're cheap like that!
