As an anime fan as well as a fan of Hatsune Miku, I absolutely loved this game! This is a rhythm game which uses the X,O,ロ, and △ buttons in a DDR-style button-mashing gameplay. I have played two of the other PSP games in the series (Project Diva and Project Diva 2nd), and I must say that the game has greatly been improved. They've added "technical sections" and star-shaped targets (hit by flicking the joysticks). Also, since this is a PS3 game, the graphics are 1080p high-definition, and is apparently 3D enabled (I haven't used it yet). In my opinion, you do not need to know Japanese to play the game. Yes, the menus are in Japanese. But I've always managed to get by with my poor Japanese (1st grade level) and trial-and-error. Since it is a rhythm game, Japanese isn't required when playing. As always, PS3 games are region free, and can be played on any system, regardless of the country of origin.

I kind of wish the game was multi-player, but you can't win them all. I was a little concerned about buying the Asia Pacific Edition instead of the Japanese edition, but there seems to be no difference. The only difference I've noticed is the lack of Cero rating in the bottom-right hand corner. For all the parents out there, this game is rated Cero C, which means for ages 15 and up. Keep in mind that the rating is affected by Japanese cultural values, so it is probably an E10+ rating or T rating equivalent. From what I've seen, some of the costumes and dances are slightly suggestive, and there may be some foul language (Of course, the foul language is in Japanese, so I wouldn't know the difference).
Overall, I was very satisfied, both with the product and the seller (WeSellGames). This game is a must-buy!

I'm playing this game non-stop. It's in Japanese, but that does stop me. I learned my Japanese from Anime shows. This game made me want to buy all the other games. I'm even looking where I can find the actual Acarde game, you know, that big machine? This game is awesome. NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!!Having high expectations from the start I decided to buy it and to my suprise it surpassed my expectations of it. The graphics look amazing, the songs are catchy, the game is easy to navigate through and just overall a fun time. Took me a little while to find the save button but once finding it that was the only problem I ran into. Product came a day before estimated arrival so it was a nice bonus suprise. Overall I would recommend it to anyone.Me being the huge Miku fan that I am knew I would enjoy this game, if it was availible in America I would have the whole series but sadly it is notI would reccomend this to anybody its a teriffic game andif you love J-pop or anime I highly recommend this game
Some down points to this game if you own the version for the VITA its the same exact game with 5 new songs, new accessories for the Vocaloids, and a few new costumes
And if you cant read Japanese the game can be tricky at first but the screens are extremely easy to navigate it just takes practice
