I live in the United States and the game plays on my U.S. PS3, but all the downloadable content, given by a code in the package, requires you to have a United Kingdom account, the U.S. Playstation store does not recognize the code in the games box/package, so I would recommend if you live in the U.S. like me, you purchase the regular GT5 or the GT5 XL Edition and then buy the different car packs if you want from the PStation store, BUT as I said the game does work on U.S. systems, or should I say, it worked on my system, but the codes do not and the U.S. downloadable content found on the Playstation network do not work with this game either since it is from the UKThe product was delivered in time referred. the only problem I got is that I could not downloadable content with my American account. The only way I could download the content was a European account. still downloads on my ps3 I could play my American account. It's a great game.
