I bought this set for my husband and he absolutely loved it!! It comes with the game, a DVD, book, prescription pad, syringe pen and Zombrex pamphlet. The only complaint we had was that it came in a small box so the pamphlet was folded.

The game itself is fun, just like the original.

The game was fun to play. You have the freedom to roam around, combine weapons, and choose missions as you please. As for the bonus content, The items are worth it if you are a fan to the series or the horror-survival genre. I thought the zombrex syringe replica has a nice touch to it.

I think the graphis are good the multyplayer is alright the story mode could be better but other then that worth the extra money witch isnt alot any more so its well worth it this includes zombrex pen (with mine was empty of zombrex) folder (witch is bent all to hell) and concept art(pretty good hard case) the game has an illuminum or metal case ( i think illuminum nt sure) but still well worth it so in my opinion its a alright collectors edition the story must remain a secret thats why im not writing about it.

I ordered this item in Dec. 2011 and when it arrived it was obvious that the collector's items were apparently not designed to last. Even though my item was brand new, sealed in its original retail packaging and shrinkwrap, the Zombrex pen that is supposed to have a blue liquid in it was completely dried out. There was no staining or liquid damage to the contents in the box, meaning the liquid in the pen must have simply slowly evaporated over the last year it was sitting in storage, leaving a sludge of blue dye in the pen chamber. However, it's hard to say whether this was just a fluke or if it is indicative of a fundamental flaw in the design of the pen as I was unable to get a replacement. The only option offered to me when I returned the item was a refund.

If you're buying this just for the game, try to find the standard edition if you can as it should cost less. If you're buying this edition for the collector's items, particularly the pen, I would strongly suggest reconsidering your purchase.
