Don't be fooled, the "armor" that comes with the grips are just a side piece, the real product here are the trigger grips. If you've ever had your trigger slip off the Dualshock 3's crappy R2/L2 buttons or wanted a better feel in FPS games, this product is a MUST! It could be cheaper.. but the crappy armor they bundle with this product probably jacks up the price slightly. I'd highly recommend it for people who dislike the Dualshock's current trigger setup.

It would get a 5 but the "armor" that comes with it is just useless and flimsy. It doesn't even fit the controller right. Throw it away immediately.

As this has been said before, I'll keep this short. The armor is pointless, and actually inhibits the use of the start and select buttons. As my controllers are protected by silicone skins, I bought two of these strictly for the L2 and R2 trigger grips. They deliver as advertised. Don't bother here if you can find similar trigger grips elsewhere.

This Is A Great Product, Trigger Grips Help A Lot! & The Armor Just Looks Cool. The Start & Select Buttons Are A Little Harder To Push With The Armor On. However It Is Not An Inconvenience (I Only Noticed & Thought Nothing More Of It).

However One Thing Everyone Should Be Aware Of The Controller Will Not Fit Most Chargers (Charging Hubs ECT.) With The Armor On (I Had The Pelican Recharging Station For Two Controllers Which Is The Exact Same Design As The Energizer One Will Not Fit With Armor On It). If You Want To Charge The Controllers With The Armor On (Which I Did) The One Charging Station That I Have Found So Far That Works With The Armor On Is The T-X3 Charge Hub for PS3 by Hercules.

All In All I Like The Product & Plan On Buying Two More.

The Controller Armor could be seen as a poor repackaging of a very useful product--two Real Triggers--with a shameful add-on--the aluminum faceplate. I would have bought four pairs of real triggers at $5 a pop, but for $10 it's too much for the part of this product I wanted. Take in mind, the real triggers click on as extensions of the L2 & R2 buttons, and are just molded plastic, so they could easily be sold for $1-2 a pair. They function well and keep your fingers from sliding off as can happen when playing games like Motorstorm. The do what they do and aren't a reimagining of the Dualshock 3, so you still have to deal with the changes in the controller that make it feel small in the hands and like the L/R-buttons are all placed a bit too high for the natural position of your index fingers. The PS2 dualshock feels much more natural.

I purchased because i was having problems keeping grip on the L2 and R2 buttons due to my large hands.

This is how the controller should have come! It is 10x easier to use.

I would definitely recommend this product to ANYONE who has a ps3 controller, regardless of hand size. It just makes it so much more comfortable to use!

The buttons are positioned kind of weird and its hard to get used to it when the usual stick has the 3 or 2 buttons lined up then the other row underneath.

The base and everything is very good quality.

This fight stick is awesome. No doubt about that. It takes a little bit to get used to if you're used to playing with a controller... but just be patient and practice and soon you'll be doing better with this than you ever hoped you could with a controller. Some of the harder moves are much easier and you can perform them much faster. I love this stick. The quality is very hight quality and slick. If you have the money to spend and love MK, I would definitely pick one of these up.

HOWEVER! Not at this price listed here on amazon. There is no way you should be paying more than 180 dollars for this brand new. 120 dollars if it's just the stick and no game included. So either pick it up used or on Ebay or something. There is another alternative though if the art isn't important. The same guys that made this stick for MK9 have another one released called the MK Klassic Kollection fight stick and you can get that here on amazon for 120 dollars. It's EXACTLY the same as this stick here except the artwork is modeled after the old MK arcades that used to be in Pizza Hut and wherever back in the day. So it has the oldschool look and doesn't look nearly as cool as this here but the art isn't worth a 100 dollar jump in price IMO. I wanted another fight stick so both players can use a stick at my house and decided just to pick up the Klassic fight stick. Thought I'd take one of each and the price for that was WAAAY more reasonable now.

Great controller

Can use it on your legs and still have solid response

I like the built in cabinet compartment

Only complaint, the position of the buttons is not good for other games

In my case had to modify for use with street fighters series games.

I've owned and original MK1 arcade, and built a mk3 mame cabinet. This feels just like the real thing.. only it weighs 20lbs not 400lbs. Great quality and workmanship went into the production of this.

This game Conflict Denied Ops is awesome!!! I played the demo. Then I read reviews of split screen multiplayer offline. Awesome! I bought this game and play it with my friends at home offline in split screen. This game is great. Do not listen to other reviews. This game is onsale too. Well worth it. It does not disappoint. I don't always want to play multiplayer online only and this is a great multiplayer offline split screen at home with your buddy. We need more offline split screen games on PS3.

I downloaded the demo and played it with my boyfriend, and we think it's fun so we decide to buy it. The graphic is average good, not best though, the control is easy to handle and not too difficult to play. Overall an average good game, nice split screen co-op mode, it's fun to play with someone else together.

This worked as I was expecting, configuration is a pain but if you've configured your own wireless router manually then it shouldn't be an issue. When I had a wireless G router, I noticed some lag on X-Box live, but I've since upgraded to a good wireless N router. Now I can play Halo Reach Matchmaking and not have lag significantly affect gameplay!

Unlike what many reviewers said, it is not that tough to set up.

Basically, you plug it to your PC/MAC, change your PC/MAC ip adress to 10.10.10.3, and then log on to 10.10.10.254.

Enter the username/passwd as admin/admin, set everything up, and connect it to the Xbox/PS3. It's that easy !

I haven't tried it with a game yet, but I did the Xbox update via Xbox Live and it worked fine.

Plus, I got it for $26 on eBay, which is far from the $80 you spend for the Microsoft product.

Peace :p

I purchased one of these network adapters for my nephew, hoping to save $50 by skipping the Microsoft brand wireless N adapter, and I regretted it the moment I started trying to install it for him. The installation is ridiculously convoluted, and I'd consider myself an expert with computers and networking. The software included with it is poorly coded and barely works, and it turns out the adapter won't work with dsl or fios at all. I ended up taking a quick drive to a Gamestop and getting the Microsoft branded N product, which took all of five minutes to set up.

Before returning this product, I decided to give it a shot with my Comcast Extreme 50 home connection. Once I managed to get the thing working it couldn't handle the speed of my connection and throttled it down to 15mbit.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this thing at all costs, if you need a wireless adapter and can't afford the Microsoft wireless N, buy one of the older Microsoft wireless G adapters you'll get the same speed due to the throttling on the madcatz product and you'll avoid a massive headache when trying to install the little nightmare.

I had 3 options to play my Xbox at work...

Option 1: Capture Device/Laptop Screen-

This was desirable to me because it removed the need to buy an additional screen and haul around extra gear. So I looked to things like Easy Cap, Dazzle, and Hauppauge capture devices to play Xbox on my laptop screen. Unfortunately, using a capture card and viewing the game on a laptop screen experiences lag, and in the case of the Easy Cap and Dazzle, a 480p resolution. The clincher for me was the lag.

Option 2: Small 15 Inch HDTV-

This option seemed like the next best choice. I would need to buy a larger bag to take both the laptop, the Xbox, the HDTV and whatnot's to work. This option is definitely viable, but after the price of the bag and television I would end up paying close to what the G155 already costs, albeit less. Additionally, the Xbox wouldn't have felt as safe and setup and takedown of everything would have been more cumbersome.

Option 3: The Gaems G155 Mobile System-

This appeared like the best of the three options for me. In essence it was an HDTV within a container that seemed both organized and sturdy, so I ended up buying the G155.

**************************************************************************************************************************************

After purchasing and using the G155 here are a few areas of improvement for the device...

Dead Pixels-

As with many new screens there are a few dead pixels, but generally I don't notice them, although it's not ideal.

Loose Seam-

Sometimes the case comes loose at the middle, near the handle while I carry it. I feel that this would be solved if there was a latch mechanism installed there, like in a briefcase.

Carry Strap-

I wish I had a backpack or messenger bag that was large enough for the G155 unit to fit into. I'd like the actual case to be hidden from view and be more protected from scratches and scuffs. Also, a backpack's or messenger bag's carrying straps would be very nice as opposed to carrying a heavy load with just the current handle. I'm aware that Gaems has stated that you can attach your own strap to it and they might be making one of their own for the unit, however carrying the unit completely immersed in a bag would be ideal for me, although I haven't found a bag large enough for the unit to fit into.

Price-

I bought the G155 off Amazon at $270. If this unit sold for $200 or even $250 it would have been an easier purchase. I understand that they have to consider the bottom line and profits but a $200-250 unit would be more convincing for me as a consumer.

[Those are my only beefs with the G155 as of this writing. Unlike some owners, mine will be used extensively in the future, so we'll see how well it holds up for me over time. Hopefully it won't break down easily with a lot of use.]

**************************************************************************************************************************************

Now on to the things I love about the G155...

Xbox Stays Cool-

After hours of continuous gameplay my Xbox does not overheat at all within the G155.

Protective-

My Xbox feels much safer in the hard plastic case compared to carrying it around in a normal bag.

Compact/Organized-

All of my cords, controllers, and pretty much everything I need easily packs into one gaming environment. [Note: I bought a small CD sleeve to carry my game discs within the G155.]

Mobility-

I can leave my Xbox in the case and hook it up to my large TV at home without removing it, then just close it and take it to work when needed.

Screen-

The HD 720p screen is clear and gorgeous to look at and there is no lag whatsoever.

**************************************************************************************************************************************

In summary of my 3 mobile console gaming options...

Option 1: Capture Device/Laptop Screen-

I do not recommend this as a sole way to play consoles on the go. The lower resolution and lag times are not cool.

Option 2: Small 15 Inch HDTV-

Having done something similar to this in the past, it is definitely a viable option, based on if you're looking for something less expensive and your personal tastes.

Option 3: The Gaems G155 Mobile System-

This, I believe, is the best all-around option for mobile console gaming, or if you want an extra small television in your home where you can play Xbox or PlayStation. I'm very glad I purchased it and would recommend the Gaems G155.

Hope this helps perspective buyers.

[Update: I've now used the Gaems G155 for six months, and on a regular basis. It's held up great, and I've had no additional problems with it.]

Our production company often travels for business and PSP, 3DS etc. is fine since hotel TVs tend to be older SD sets so I just got use to having to leave my favorite games like COD and Street fighter IV behind till I got home. We saw this screen running at E3 2011 and it was fantastic! I had mine on pre-order ever since we got back into the office and it just showed up today. Well built, holds my Xbox 360 pefectly, no overheating, it's great! I WAS looking at other HORI screens for around $250 but they just click on top of the system, they don't close up with into a case with a handle. This product is also great for those in the MLG and NEED to make sure they have an HD screen everywhere they go. I'll definately be keeping mine and using it for a long LONG time.... the only draw back is that the LED screen is a bit on the sharp side (hey GAEMS, please add sharpness control!) but it's still the best thing on the market.

plastic shell needs a luggage strap for a more secure hold.

lock latches are plastic

LCD has very poor viewing angles

LCD is too sharp, this cannot be adjusted in the menu

xbox 360 controllers will not fit in the case.

Glossy screen finish

Notes

Never make the mistake of placing this unit upside with a console in it.

The screen will be fine but you could damage your consoles disc drive. =(

I just received my unit yesterday, and I have been playing on it non-stop since it arrived (with a few hours of sleep). The detail/resolution of the screen is great, and there is no lag from the screen when I play online. Even my blue-ray movies on my PS3 look great! Also I have ever so thankful for the Hard plastic case. When I closed it up for the night, my dog knocked it off the small table I had it set on(I was soo mad!). When I opened it up I expected the worst, but absolutely nothing inside was damaged! My PS3 started right back up, and the screen was not cracked, not even a scratch, crack, or dent on the case.

I will definitely be more careful in the future (Bad Dog). Thank you GAEMS for making sure a great product!

Well after watching almost every video review on youtube and reading articles all day i finally decided to make the jump and purchase this bad boy. i love it! this has been one of the best investments i've made in a while. i'm in the military and this is going to make deployments so much more bearable. i know it's pricey, it only displays 720p but in all honesty it's well worth it. if you have the money to burn and are looking for something convenient and something to keep that gamer in your life busy then buy this. my xbox 360 slim fits perfect and i've been playing skyrim on it for about 2 days and the graphics are amazing, great resolution. speakers aren't that great but i've got me some nice audio technicas that work perfectly. i'm sure the price will go down soon but i had to have this, seeing how deployment is coming soon.

This isn't my favorite game bar none, life changing, or perfect, but it's definitely the most bang for the buck of any game I've played this generation.

But if you're considering it, you need to understand: this is Gran Turismo. It's not like other games. For better or worse, they are not attempting to make it like other games or fundamentally change their formula. Many of Gran Turismo's fans over the past 15 years liked the game because there wasn't anything closer to their tastes, but today, there is more competition.

Do you want a Gran Turismo style game? If so, this is excellent. Do you instead want something that doesn't take many hours of work to open up? It's up to you.

Gran Turismo 5 is excellent, but there may be other games that are closer to what you actually want. Dirt's series is much easier to dive into and has plenty of graphics punch. Blur and other more arcadey games present cars you see on Top Gear or other TV shows, but with Mario Kart style action.

Gran Turismo presents a tremendous amount of content. Many cars, many tracks. With that content, you can painstakingly perfect your driving technique and develop tuning concepts while enjoying a very wide array of driving situations. The graphics, particularly the lighting, is superior to other games. Period. Forza presents the stiffest challenge, but is somewhat less realistic and has inferior graphics (at least 1-3... I have yet to play the new one) and levels of content. That said, Forza is a great game. Some will find it more fun. Some will wish it had that extra depth GT always brings.

GT has added 'levels' to this game, and you build experience when you do various things. You need a certain level in order to buy cars or drive in events. The licenses are there, but are totally optional. This is my primary gripe with GT. The licenses force one to learn proper technique. I think you'll have much more fun with the game if you do the licenses.

Otherwise: here's how to play. Buy a cheap car with your starter money. Race some easy races while upgrading the car. Race harder races and buy better cars, building your empire of cars and trophies. It's great fun.

GT5 has an A spec mode, where you do the driving, and a B spec mode, where one of your fleet of AIs do the driving. The AI is really good, in my opinion. They track stress and mental and physical fatigue and have differing levels of skills. And in B spec, you can tune the car and enjoy the amazing graphics.

GT5 has added Seasonal events, which you have to download from the internet (for free). This provides constant variety as you build a collection of cars from the three dealerships (premium new cars, standard used cars (Which inferior graphics, I should add), and online dealer.

The seasonals are essential to loving this game, as there are far fewer standard offline races than in GT4.

The audio in this game is a radical massive improvement. In most cases, it is obvious the audio is a real recording of the actual car. I can tell how many cylinders and the exhaust system, simply based on the car. A few times, I have heard a car passing me and realized what car it is, simply from having heard that car in real life. It is amazing, and you will love this game if you have a quality surround sound system. Even spectating is great, simply because the audio engrosses.

The graphics are ridiculously good. The standard cars look good (some look amazing and would be the best except they pale in comparison to the premiums). This game has crossed the threshold of graphics. It looks more realistic than real life. Watching the shadows of trees flicker over your leather dashboard, as you use cockpit view without any heads up, it is often impossible to tell this is a game rather than a video. The photo mode is also amazing, and you should check out gtplanet's photomode forum. You actually can learn a great deal about photography from this game.

For the money I paid, this game is a tremendous value. It's not perfect. In particular, the game is not evolving from the Gran Turismo formula, and some didn't want that game when they bought this. I did, and I'm thrilled.

This game suffers from a degree of fanboy mentality that has plagued this generation of PS3 and XBOX 360. Don't let that bug you. This game (And Forza as well) are excellent and worth the asking price. If you love realistic racing, you should buy this game.

I wish this game was recognized for the things it did do rather than the things it didn't do.

I've never spent more time with a game in my life, let alone a racing game.

It all boils down to WHY one plays a game and, for me, one of the greatest factors is immersion.

So expectations were enormous. The damage modeling is moderate, there are a huge number of "standard" model cars, there are a few jaggy shadows here and there, and some of the details in a handful of tracks don't scream PS3.

BUT, the detail in the cockpits of those premium cars, those cars that I dream of sitting in but probably never will, is phenomenal. Sway your view left to right and in reverse and the sense of immersion is unparalleled. When it comes to graphics, I always ask myself, "is there enough here to keep me in the game or has the game blatantly broken my sense of immersion?" The goal of Gran Turismo 5 is realism so the minimalist approach to details on the track is actually appreciated. You won't find any exaggerations or artistic indulgences here. The result is pure focus on the vehicle in which you are seated and the driving experience--an aspect of the game that needs no explanation or defense.

Tune one of the hundreds of high-powered premium cars, take a seat and hit the road. For me, this was enough.

So GT5 would rate 4-stars normally, but given the fact that Polyphonic developed this for 6 years, expectations are higher, and this game doesn't meet them.

I'll start off with the good parts of the game first.

Graphics:

It's got outstanding graphics. The photo mode is insane. Yes, only 20% of the cars are fully scanned by GT5, but it's not a big deal, really. Asking GT5 to put that amount of work into all 1,000 cars is just asking too much for such a small improvement. The game size is already large enough as it is. Stages also look very good.

Car selection:

Couldn't ask for more. You can look up which cars are available on the web. I won't list them here. However, some races require used cars, and since dealers don't have a WHOLE lot of those, you'll have to wait for them to be offered on the very small Used Car lot. This could take forever. I still can't find a truck.

Presentation:

Outstanding. Menus are navigable and simple, races are easy and quick to restart, and everything looks very clean. Load times are OK.

Content:

Pretty good amount of content. You won't be disappointed.

OK, now the bad parts.

Collisions:

One of the big things they promoted about this game was the collision physics, new to GT5. However, I'm not sure if they changed anything at all. Two cars hitting each other at any speed sounds like someone kicked a rubbermaid trashcan for some reason, and barely ever causes any physical change in the car, nor the kind of collision response you'd expect (touching a wall or another car at any angle, even just a glancing touch, brakes you as hard as if both objects were made of rubber). Also, just like in previous game iterations, computer cars are planted securely on the road no matter how hard you try to knock them off. God forbid you position yourself to run them into a wall or try to force them into a tailspin, they'll win the battle every time, knocking you across the track. I guess you could argue that GT5 isn't about such aggressive contact racing, but then why can the AI run me off the road? In 20 hours of play never once have I been able to force someone's car more than 1 or 2 feet off the road, much less spin it out, yet they do it to me constantly.

Physics:

Car physics and performance seem good until you get to some of the mid-engined cars, when they go nuts. The Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 SV performs far below where it should, often being unable to out-accelerate Miuras or Gallardos, and with brakes so bad they'll constantly send you spinning into walls. The Lotus Elise race on the Top Gear track is famous for being essentially impossible. Touch the brakes and you'll spin out. Touch the throttle and you'll spin out. I did the course about 70-90 times and I've only been able to complete the first lap (of two) twice. And, by the way, I use to have a Lotus Elise that I tracked, and it DOES NOT perform like it does on GT5. There are various theories on the web as to what the problems arise from (someone forgot to program down force on some cars?). Despite all this, the Ferrari 458 and the Lamborghini Miura, both mid-engine cars, perform very well.

Customization:

Where to begin. Customization has been getting worse and worse in GT5 games, and the pattern continues. You can upgrade about 30 different things but not your brakes. Overly-expensive turbos add a minuscule amount of power (what kind of turbo adds 20hp?). You have EXTREMELY limited amount of control over what you can adjust on cars compared to previous GT5 games. No camber, toe-in/out, splitter, brake force, or wing adjustments, among others. You have a limited control over transmission, suspension, and brake balance, but only if you buy EXTREMELY expensive upgrades, which you won't want to do usually. That's about it. The only visual customization is paint color.

B-Spec:

B-spec mode, another new thing they added to allow you to direct someone else while they're driving, is horrible. There's no introduction so you don't exactly know how your driver is interpreting your commands, but there's only 4 anyway. Aside from those 4 commands, there's nothing else to do. You just sit there and watch. Oh, and B-spec races are twice the length of A-spec.

Music:

The music is ABSOLTELY TERRIBLE. Half of it puts you to sleep, the other half just leaves your mouth puckered in disgust. I don't recognize a single song other than the zany rendition of The Entertainer that plays when you go in the maintenance shop.

In the end, this game makes you wonder what they've been doing for 6 years. I mean, companies make entire universes of content if given 6 years (like MMOs). GT5 seems to have spent all of that time in the following way: 85% lets' scan 200 cars into GT5 in minute detail, 9% new courses, 3% photo modes, 3% new menus and screens, 0.0001% collision physics.

Read Best Reviews of Gran Turismo 5 Here

First let me start out by saying, if you dont have a wheel at least like Logitechs driving force gt at around 130 bucks you will probably be quite underwhelmed wth the game.

The game has undergone numerous updates which have gone a long way to fix the slow plodding menus, some graphical anomalies, and the terrible ai.

The AI now isnt bad. They will dodge you, theyll try to find their way around you. However, the AI ISNT exciting. You dont have different personalities come through. But it's still perfectly serviceable.

The graphiocs are FANTASTIC. You really cant ask for more. The engine sounds sounded nice at the start but just not quite beefy. (Update: I set it to the full dynamic range (large theater setting) and got a good headphone setup that can actually do this very thing. Oh my goodness. Problem solved :) It sounded phenomenal. I was racing a ferari enzo and I was in cockpit mode. I heard this roaring engine deafening me at loud RPM's not in the center but slightly to the right of the center as it should be in real life. But most people probably will not have this type of setup so I imagine the engines will still not very beefy. . )

One other MAJOR CON is that you have to get to level 20 to really get much enjoyment out of the rich graphics, or the damage etc. This takes a looooooooong time. So, if you dont have the time or a wheel, dont bother.

Also, it's nearly impossible to slide an AI car out. You just cant.

Now the Good.

Graphics!!! Wow. After level 20, most cars you will drive are the 200 premium cars which look stunning including the interiors.

PHYSICS and gameplay: Incredible sensation of control on the steering wheel. amazing handling. The different tires make a difference. Drifting isnt easy as it should be. The cars just feel like they behave right. For instance if Im taking a turn and let off the throttle the car will not steer as well as if I had momentum going. If I brake at high speeds on certain cars without ABS enabled, Ill feel the steering wheel pulling as I struggle to keep the car from spinning out in a straight line. A ferrari enzo handled very different from the 458 italia though both had great performance. The enzo was tougher to control. But the incredible bit was there was a billion subtleties in the control system that it was just sublime.

The mini was a blast to drive as was the Evo and the lancia delta. The lancia delta being incredible at drifting. The mustang not as easy. All the different styles of cars behaved differently from model to model. The tires made a huge difference. Racing tires had the best grip but lost a bit of the wildness that standard tires had etc.

I cant emphasize how gorgeous the models are and there is a lot of satisfaction watching the replays just because your car looks stunning and you look good driving it.

When I discovered the ehandbrake button, things got much better as it allowed me to perform wilder maneuvers. Throttle and breaking feel great where you need careful control on the throttle and brake. For instance if you try braking in a turn you are more liable to spin the car out. But if you do you can cut the opposite way if you are fast enough and try to initiate a drift, but if your speed is out of the correct range this technique doesnt work. As you can see the options are nearly infinite as are the selection of vehicles.

You have TRUCKS! Mini cars! Cars! Electric cars! Karts! Dirt Cars! Incredible.

After level 20 the damage looks nice but it feels mainly cosmetic and doesnt really contribute much. But the point of gt5 is clean racing. This is a realistic game (for a console) that is just not meant to be played as an ass.

My friends came over and tried the steerring wheel and kept crashing constantly as they tried to steer at way too high speeds.

The force feedback is great, from bumper pads on the corners, feeling your wheels spin out, the steering tensing up at higher speeds, shuddering at ridiculous speeds. Slamming that h-shifter in gear. Even using the paddles are great. With a g25 you ca even use the clutch though I havent tried this. You can tell which side is spinning out or even in sopme cases which tire by the accuracy of the feedback.

Amazing.

The Veyrons spoiler goes up and down with speed and the airbrake comes on if you brake at a certain speed. As you drift, lots of smoke is given off and then as the back end touches the grass dirt flies everywhere.

Driving a classic benz 300 on the nurbrughring in the rain i nthe evening, the rain spray off the other cars was lit up by my headlights making it hard to see. Nice. Apparently you can turn off the lights during these events.

Certain tracks have great changes in elevation which make a difference in the handling. Accelerating on an inclined cuve will give you more grip than on a regular curve etc. I dont know what magic they put in their physics system but its near unbelievable. Frame rate drops have beeen improved by updagtes.

Even the upgrades dont provide the sae performance increase in different cars. And your top speed wont necessarily go exponentially up past a limit while you upgrade a crappy car.

The SEASONAL EVENTS are much more balanced than most of the races in the game. So spend your time on these things as you will get a greater challenge.

This game is not for you IF:

You use a controller. You want to race dirty or crazy and just arent very good at doing so. You dont have an extraordinary amount of time and patience. If you liked TEST DRIVE unlimited or arcade racing games. This is not an arcade game. This game isnt like another very good game called Dirt 2 or 3. This is slower in pace and not as crazy.

Is for you:

If you like realism. If you have a wheel. If you have patience to get to level 20. You dont mind somewhat simplistic upgrade systems. (You still have options but they are dumbed down a bit, and you cant upgrade your brakes, though the dfferent cars braking capabilities all vary).

Want Gran Turismo 5 Discount?

As someone that spent months playing Gran Turismo 3 I was very excited for the release of GT5. I eagerly picked it up on the first day of release and jumped right into it. As everyone will find out pretty quick it's relatively easy to play. There is a lot of depth to this game and you will find many ways to customize the car of your choice. The early skill level events of the game are usually easy to get first place in even if you have decided not to tune your car. Soon you will find yourself repeating the same 5-10 tracks over and over in an attempt to build up credits to buy new cars and new mods. While this does start to get monotonous it's fun to learn every area of each track to really hone your skills. Also you're going to need that kind of experience on each track as the level of competition and number of laps increases through the intermediate level to the advanced level. Eventually you will open up the endurance events, which in my opinion are the most fun and challenging events in the game.

Pros:

+Classic Gran Turismo controls and game play

+Many cars and tracks

+Pretty good music library

+Responsive controls with standard and wheel controllers

Cons:

-Shading and rendering of many vehicles looks unfinished

-Tons of menu screens and loading times

-Vehicle damage was hyped, but didn't deliver!

-Grinding tracks 100+ times for credits

Overall this is a very fun game and excellent value for fans of the previous Gran Turismo titles or anyone willing to spend hours and hours playing a racing game. There are some glaring flaws in the visuals that you would have hoped that 5+ years of development would have fixed. With that being said I really enjoyed playing this game from the first race I completed in my 75 HP car all the way up until I stopped playing with 98% completion. Order today!

EDIT 18 Sep 11

So, its been several months since I have touched this game. After watching a few episodes of Top Gear I really missed playing GT5 so I thought I would give it another go around. Whats the first thing I see? I need to install the last 7 updates that I have missed since I stopped playing...BLAH! After the updates are finally finshed I start looking around at some of the new features and I gotta say, WOW! Buying/installing/uninstalling parts and tires can now be done on almost any menu screen. This may not seem like a big improvement to some, but for those of us that have spent numerous hours playing the game and have been frustrated having to back out of menus to fix the smallest details its completely awesome! Another improvement is to the placing/prize system for seasonal events. Before when you finished first place you would get the prize money, but if you raced and finished first on that same track again you would get nothing. Now instead of having to resort to grinding an A Spec track, for a weak $90,000 to save up to buy that new car you want just hop on your favorite seasonal event and grind it for sometimes up $400,000+ a race.

Im really enjoying playing GT5 again. Best racing game ever!

I'm trying to learn Japanese at the moment, but I wanted to be able to still play the game. The Chinese version is exactly what you want, you'll get the Japanese voice cast, along with English, or Chinese subtitles with English menus. Considering how hard it was to find a copy, this was a good buy, plus I got the game within 2 weeks! Overall, I fully recommend this for Japanese learners who still want to play their favorite games.

This Japanese voice-over version is hard to find.

I personally think that Eng dubbed FF feels like Harry Potter, Narnia, or some

silly corny Hollywood kiddy fantasy movies. So I had to return it and bought

this version. Despite it being a rare copy, the seller priced the item within

fair market value and not only that, I received my copy in a perfect mint

condition in just 2 days.

The seller has 2 day UPS air option and provides tracking number.

This is the fastest shipping ever of all of the items I ordered on Amazon

so far. Very satisfied with the shipping and the content.

I dont' want to spend too much time writing about this product. The other two guys pretty much sums it up. I just want to say how impressed I am with the game after playing the first one. Usually when it comes to movies or games, the original is usually the best. Well in this case.. XIII-2 blows it away. The first game was great and this game is just Stellar! I am only 2 hours into the game, but the story has me in awe. I could of spent less than 60 and pick up the US version with all the bells and whistle collectors edition, but I wanted to play the game with Japanese voice actors and english dub. To me... that is the best experience. GET THIS GAME!

-For purists and those that hate dubbed English voiceovers this is the version to get. This has both Traditional Chinese and English subtitles with the original Japanese voiceovers. The only thing that is different besides the language is the names of items and characters other than that it is basically the same as the English version.

-The game is an improvement over the original in terms of the changes made to the gameplay with the best part about this game in my opinion is the overall vast exploration that can be done and finding hidden secrets in all the multitude of sidequests that the game has to offer. I have always been the type to work hard to find all that the game has to offer and FFXIII-2 has many of those types of scenarios. Monster collection, which I originally thought was a terrible addition to fill in the spot of a third character, is in fact a lot fun and very addicting. Almost every monster you fight, you have a chance of collecting them in a crystal, having them join your party. Each one has a specific role and their own unique feral attacks. Overall, it's a fantastic addition to the game. If your a fan of the series I highly recommend picking this game up, until the sequel to this game gets released.

**DLC costumes for Serah and Noel come with the game and can be downloaded for free with the available code that comes with the game.**

I accidentally stepped on the empty case to my PS3 copy of "Saints Row The Third" and pretty much destroyed the plastic container it was in. This is the exact same kind of plastic case it was in, so when I got it, I just took the artwork out of the destroyed case and put it in this new one and it's like brand new! It should work with any PS3 game that doesn't come in a steelbook or "collector's edition book" (like "Watchmen: The End is Nigh") so if you need a replacement case, get this one!

These cases are great replacements for ones that are broken. They are the same size and dimensions. The only difference between these and the original ones is the placement of the "Blu-Ray" logo. On the original cases, it is on the upper right hand side of the case, and these are in the top center, but that isn't a big deal.

Overall, I would recommend these to anyone who needs some new cases.

If your in the Market for a Japanese manufactured really High-tech & Quality PS3 controller, you've found your love. This controller is Very Erogonomic, which means it fits like a glove in your Hand, Comfortable & this controller in perticular exceeds in Handling & Aesthetics... the L2 & R2 Buttons are recessed in the controller so the L1 & L2 for instance are farther away, but Once again great feel.

I also purchase this product because of the name... Blazing is really what it's all about when your playing your favorite Game.

Quality & the longevity of the product will probably be good & I'll probably will have it for many years. I've only had it about a month, but really nice so far.

This guitar is a piece of crap. It sucks it does not work correctly and is cheaply made. It turned off my PS3 several times or paused the game or brought up the systems menu. It does not work correctly at all. I got it for Guitar Hero 3 and the thing must be defective or just poorly made. I know it doesn't work with Rock Band because it says so. This is just a very sad piece of merchandise. .

This guitar DOES work for Rockband 2 (after patch). It feels cheap, looks decent (I like the solid black look not as wild as others). I only really have two complaints.

1. The "strum" lever (whatever it is you hit w/your right hand) is rather loose. I find it easier to accidentally hit it than the "official" RB2 guitar.

2. A previous poster did complain about some problems w/the XMB. The button w/the thumbprint icon serves as the PS button on the controller. I've found that there is a HUGE amount of lag from pressing that button to the XMB showing up. This does lead to some confusion and frustration.

All in all, this is a good back up guitar. I wouldn't recommend it for continuous primary play.

Buy Playstation 3 Black Axe Guitar Now

I picked this up originaly thinking it would work with rock band...of course it did not. Not sure why a 3rd party would not make a guitar that would satisfy the dispute between rock band and guitar hero but they didn't. As for the game play with the guitar (GH3) very cheap feeling. The strum bar has a defined reaction when used, meaning it clicks and does give a reflexive response like the rock band guitar. Now some who play GH3 will be used to that, personally, I don't get it, you dont get that feel of strumming a guitar, very boolean. The button were fine but I felt they were too small and very distant for human hands. Sure guitar frets are far apart, but this is a game, not a training tool. Therefore I would say go get a genuine real mccoy GH3 backup, plus there will be less fighting with the kids on who gets the "cool" guitar, not saying which one I like better. Two stars only because it does actually work with GH3.

Takes some time placing all of it in the proper place, but well worth it in the end. Placing the skin on the controllers was more complicated then the PS3.

Plain and simple. This product is great. This particular item is sold and distributed by Systems Skins. Since this was my first purchase in years, I always wanted to skin my PS3. I ordered this specific skin to match my controllers. First off, the ordering was straight foward. The shipping was provided by USPS which always takes some patience. As soon as I received the shipment, I thoroughly inspected my product. The skin was neatly packaged and heat sealed in protective plastic. I found that installing the skin was quite overwhelming because you dont want to waste a good product if you mess up. But, system skins provided full instructions on how to install it. Included the shipment was their business card with a promo code on the back which they did not provide. I figure if a item is ordered from you that you'd want to entice the customer with discount and promo codes but thats just my insight. Continuing on, I installed the skin carefully and I am very happy with my results despite of one thing. I have a 1st generation ps3 which dont have air vents on the bottom front right side if the ps3 is sitting horizontal. The skin has pre-cut areas for the intended vents. So I had to cut the skin to accommidate for the pre-cut areas, which turned out great. All-in all, ordering from System skins was a great experience. I share this with all of you because my transaction with them was great. Only if they would include a promo code with their business card to order from them again.

If you like to throw away $20 bills then this is the product for you. The application method is horrible, you only get one shot, it tears easily even from simply removing it from the backing, it creases easily, it sticks when you don't want it to, the instructions don't help enough. The only positive thing I can say about this is that it looks cool and is shiny its just too bad you wont be able to fit it on. I have never regretted spending my money on something this bad.

The best thing about this item is the customer service I received. The first set of decals I received was junk. They are very easy to screw up on and are very sticky. Long story short the customer service sent me another set. Once again they were sticky (and yes i read the instructions) and the decals where ruined so i gave up. I also had a friend helping me apply them. waste of money!

I'm a huge fan of the Saw movies, so when I heard they were releasing a game I was ecstatic. But then I thought, what if this is just another miserable attempt to capitalize on a movie franchise in the form of a video game? Especially since the Saw movies aren't usually rated very highly by critics. Still, I made the leap and I'm glad that I did.

You play Detective Tapp from the first Saw movie (Yes, apparently you survived, and no, unfortunately Danny Glover isn't in this game). The story takes place after the first movie but before the second. Probably a good decision on the designers' parts since those tend to be the more popular movies. You start off in a bathroom very similar to the one used in the first movie, but not exactly the same one, thankfully. The very first trap you are faced with is the reverse bear trap (You know, the one Amanda was in during the first movie?), and you have to get out of it immediately. This started off being really frustrating because I didn't notice the buttons that showed up when you needed to push them, but after awhile I caught on and the real game began. That pretty much sets the tone for the game; a bunch of puzzles and traps that might seem ridiculously impossible, but once you become aware of what's around you they aren't so bad.

Other than that the game is pretty much trap after trap, victim after victim, and fight after fight. This might sound repetitive, and in a way it is, but I think fans of the movie will be intrigued by what is to come. I know I was. Playing this game in the dark with the almost complete lack of music really kept me on my toes constantly. You never know when you might accidentally run into a trip wire, open a door rigged with a shotgun, or step on some broken glass (your character plays barefoot, by the way). And as far as the combat goes, fans of Silent Hill will recognize the combat system as being very similar. Pretty much you find a random object and knock the other guy in the head a few times.

Overall I think this game will please both survival/horror fans and fans of the movies as well. What I've talked about in my review is just the bare bones of what to expect while playing this game, but there are many, many more things to discover both in terms of the games put forth before you and the storyline itself. I probably wouldn't fully recommend this game 100% until the price tag lowers to about $40, but then I don't think there's any reason not to pick up this game. Even if you've never seen the movies, I'm sure you'll be fascinated by the world that Jigsaw has created here for his subjects.

Click Here to Read More Reviews >>

Essentially (and not surprisingly), this is Silent Hill: Homecoming. Controls are the same, graphics are the same, combat is the same. It's the same game, except for a Saw-twist on things. The puzzles seem to be a little easier. My advice is to download the demo of Silent Hill: Homecoming (if there is one) and see if you like it. If you do, you'll like Saw: The Video Game. It's not a game you'll show off to your friends, but it's one you can take turns with friends and play through in one night because it's engaging, like the Saw movies are. In fact, it's really hard to put down. I kept telling myself I'd quit after one more puzzle, but I kept playing it until it was over. Short, but a fun game. Ideally, a good, fun rental. If fun's the whole purpose of a game, then this is a winner.

Buy SAW Now

Tellurye, here with another review brought to you by Fedora Technologies. Got 3D? This time we look at SAW: The Video game

STORY: You play as Detective Tapp from the first SAW movie. Actually, a few characters from the SAW world are here, though no likeness or voice-work from any of the original cast EXCEPT Tobin (more on sound). You basically are caught by Jigsaw and you have to escape as he puts treacherous traps and puzzles in your way. You soon learn that you are not alone in the Asylum, and while you are trying to get out, everyone is more focused on killing you for some reason. You have to play the game to find out why.

GRAPHICS: Great use of the unreal engine here. I never get sick of looking at it. The levels are very detailed, with little touches like worn wallpaper, faded paint, furniture. Great lighting effects too, even on the PS3 which sometimes tends to be washed out. Lots of dark places, so you are using a lighter most of the game to find extra weapons and such, but it doesn't take away from the atmosphere. That may be annoying for some aesthetically, but it does not limit your movement.

SOUND: Fortunately, TOBIN BELL does lend his voice and it is AWESOME! Really sets the mood. Voice work is done well from the rest of the folks also, but Tobin's really sticks out. The laughing, creaking, and music really set the tone. Fun to play in the dark

GAMEPLAY: Uh, here's where it suffers a bit, and why I think the critics were harsh on it. The fighting is really sluggish and super slow to respond, regardless whether you are doing light or heavy attacks. And the animation plays out so long after you swing, or recover from an attack, that the thug is already attacking you again before you can react. I quickly learned how to counter this by moving and attacking at same time (unlike RE5, thank goodness). So when a baddie comes upon you (fortunately, his attacks are slow as well, and practically telegraphs them so you can anticipate them) you can dodge out of his reach and immediately walk towards him, executing your swing. So it's a little bit repetitive, (and you almost have to wait for them to strike first) wait, dodge, approach, attack, repeat. It only takes 2 or 3 hits to take down a baddie, so its not boring. Another cool thing is that if you knock them down but they aren't dead yet, you can get an optional QTE where it displays the button while a meter is displayed. If you hit that button when the moving meter is in its sweet spot, you get a killer, gory animation. It's not too hard to get either.

Exploration, the puzzles, and traps are fun really a homage to the Saw series. You even get a chance to set your own traps! And they are pretty ingenious just like the movie. However, the combat is where it is the weakest, and will lose most of the audience.

OVERALL: This game is really a lot of fun and Saw fans will be jacked to play this in the middle of the night. However, it is a short campaign (about 8 hours or so) no multiplayer (obviously), and the stiff, slow controls may ruin it for those that are used to Manhunt's environment. Not worth $60, but do try to rent this bad boy if you like the Saw universe. Just don't be surprised if you jump when one of your friends say `I'd like to play a game...'

Read Best Reviews of SAW Here

I wasn't sure how well a Saw video game would work, but it's surprisingly effective in making you sweat and wince, and sometimes jump in fright. You play as Detective David Tapp (Danny Glover in the first movie) who, after being rescued by Jigsaw from the catacombs outside the infamous bathroom is thrown into a gauntlet of his own in an abandoned asylum where he has to rescue a handful of people from gruesome deaths.

It reminded me a lot of Condemned 2: Bloodshot but was nowhere near as terrifying, but it gets points for trying, as you stumble around in dark, decrepit buildings unsure of what is around the corner. It's a fairly easy game, with an easy-going learning curve. Common sense and memory tricks will see you through every trap safely, and it's good to see some closure on the story of Detective Tapp (apparently the game IS canon), but the twist at the end is lame and there's no 'Final Zepp'. Instead the game just offers generic muzak that's hardly as effective.

It's an easy Platinum, with many bronze and silvers given away like they were free. You won't be playing it for more than a week, but still worth it.

Set between "Saw" and "Saw 2" before part 3, Detective Tapp has been kidnapped by the one and only Jigsaw killer (Voiced by Tobin Bell), killed Detective Sing and thrown Tapp into a large abanoned asylum. The place is booby trapped with various traps, torture devices and even helpless victims you have to save as you are trying to find out the truth behind Jigsaw including trying to escape.

A fun and challenging third-person point of view survival horror thriller game based on the popular horror thriller franchise. Twisted Pictures with Lionsgate interactive and Konami have teamed up to make a game based on their franchise to the small screen in a nice successful way. The graphics here on PS3 are quite nice even during cinematic cut-scenes but i heard the xbox360 has bad graphics compared to this version. You can use any various item as a weapon and use a lighter or flash-light to see in the dark even in the creepiest of places. The only voice actor that was from the movies happens to be Tobin Bell of the Saw film fame, sure the controls aren't too bad but you gotta remember of them.

The Puzzles are a bit challening for some players but this is a game that requires brain power then you will succeed if by following patterns or using your mind. In this game you get to also try to help victims out of Jigsaw's torture traps and even get keys out of syringe ridden toliets to acid barrels, there are even enemies in this game that are out to kill you but you have to be prepared with a weapon of any kind. This game also has concept art galleries, E3 Demo footage and a trailer to Saw 6 which i think was preety neat.

Easily the most enjoyable horror movie based game this side of "Friday The 13th" and "A Nightmare on Elm Street" for NES.
