Just a quick overview for those looking into buying the Slimer Edition versus the regular edition. This is a review of this particular edition and what it contains, and NOT a review of the game, which is pretty spectacular.

Quick background -I've been a huge Ghostbusters fan every since I first saw the movie when I was quite young. I loved it ever since, and have collected some neat stuff from the series. When the Slimer Edition was announced, I said what the heck and canceled my GameStop pre-order and bought one of these

So, here's the dirt. Amazon has been a little cagey about how this would all come, and I now know why...

The Ectomobile light thing is nice looking. It is a little cheaper looking than the Johnny Rocket cars, but it has a lot of detail and a nice little box.

Unfortunately, it is the only addition I don't have some sort of issue with.

The Gamer Graffix Skinz isn't so much a console skin but instead it is simply a big sheet of poofy stickers. It's got the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and Slimer on it with the firehouse symbol, but the only console it would fit on would be the PS3, and it would look ridiculous. I mean, I wasn't looking much forward to this part of the package anyway, and it still came up short. I was expecting to make the console into the look of the firehouse or something, but nope. Four poofy stickers.

Next up, the Slimer Bust. It's cool. Actually, it's really cool. The complaint about Slimer being a little too see-through stands, but it definitely looks like Slimer direct from the movies. However, Amazon stated that you would receive with this a "certificate of authenticity signed by the sculptor himself." I thought this was really neat, and was very excited to get it. So, when I pulled out the cards and found out that it was a copy of the artist's signature, I couldn't help but be disappointed. Amazon -don't tell us it will really be signed if it isn't. If it had been called a 'Certificate of Authenticity' and didn't mention it being signed, I wouldn't be disappointed. Thanks to that, I'm disappointed.

And speaking of failure, the biggest thing -Amazon has been advertising the packaging for the game to be different. Hell, I was literally thinking about buying all three of the Slimer versions to hold onto them as investments. Thank god I didn't -The game IS THE NORMAL VERSION. The slip cover shown on here?

It's false advertising. Yes, I know when you click on the graphic, it says that it doesn't necessarily represent the final look, but the final look was THE NORMAL GAME. Seriously? I outlaid an extra $50 at least in part because I wanted some different and exclusive artwork. Maybe that's lame, but it's true. And to have IDENTICAL artwork to the regular release? Amazon -just advertise it as what it is -Buy Ghostbusters and get more crap with it.

This is NOT a Slimer Edition. It's the game with some cool extras.

Having said that, the game is great and the extras if you are a Ghostbusters fan are well worth it. But if you're thinking of buying this as a video game collector looking for a rare version of a game in the future, don't bother.

So the game costs around 60 bucks, and if you are reading this is because you opted (like me) to buy the slimer edition.

I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS with the game... if you are a fan you will enjoy this game.

As for the "extras" that 50 bucks buy you, again, if you are a fan you are going to be pleased. What REALLY bothers me is amazon's poor description of this "special edition"

1.After reading the description youd think that it includes an ORIGINAL certificate of authenticity signed by Steve Johnson himself.... You do get one, but its a copy... its not an original certificate of authenticity.

(When I bought the slimer edition I thought Id frame slimer's bust with the certificate thinking it would be an original, but not)

2.When I preordered I thought that the GAME ITSELF would be a special edition (the cover of the game). Amazon put an original game copy and sent me to my email the "Special Edition Label" for me to print and insert on my game copy......... I mean, seriously.... have you ever heard of this before?

The PDF they send you EVEN COMES WITH A LAME WATERMARK that says "This image does not reflect the final package"

I mean, come on!

I contacted Amazon's customer service and they offered me a refund... I dont want a refund, I want a Special edition of the game!....

Im still keeping it, but amazon should consider updating the info on this game description

If you are a Ghostbusters fan you are sure to like this game. It's very fun and just like the movie in every aspect but is fairly easy to beat. My six-year-old Son was able to beat the game on medium difficulty in about a week. He still loves playing the game and is now playing it again on the hardest level. You can play single player or multi-player online where you play for and accumulate points and unlock different weapons and upgrades. There is only one problem that I see with the game. It freezes up a lot during sections of the game that have a lot of action. It gets really annoying after a while because it happens so frequently.

Weapons available for use

Proton Pack

Slime Tether

Stasis Stream

P.K.E. Meter

Paragoggles

The only thing that sets this apart from the ordinary game is the slimer edition extras. It is advertised as having them and I recieved it without. This made it a complete waste of time and money, thanks amazon. When I went to ask about the items not recieved, I was directed to the refund only page so I now have to waste more time to find the correct game that is complete. The advertising of this product needs to be modified to GAME ONLY and LOSE THE EXTRAS ADVERTISED ON THE PAGE!!!!!

Wait is That a 80's song I just quoted? why yes I did. NYC favorite paranormal exteriminators are back and have hit the video game console world now I know the game has been out for close to a year now but this game is great I'm still trying to get my platinum trophy still to this day. average rating for the game is 4 out of 5 9 out of 10 92% of 100% so that's a sign this game Rocks graphics are crisp and smooth no anti aliasing problems which plagues most third person type game very tight and responsive controls everything and everything can be destroyed don't like the look of that dining table blast away with the proton pack spell your name on the wall go right ahead but there's a catch implemented into the game is a damages and destruction counter the more ya blast away the more money is tallied up and where you are given a final grade at then end of each mission keep the damages to a minimum and you'll get a high score.it brings a form of balance to the game forcing you to strategize with your AI controlled members of your team instaed of just goign all out and blasting away there are times when the counter can be off sometimes one instance I remember shootimg a chair 60$ in destruction later on shot the same looking chair 535$ in damages? (must have been an antique) there's a trophy where your objective is to get damages below two hundred thousand try attempting that on the professional setting anyway the single player game is great as is the multiplayer the cast all lent their voice talent for the game minus Rick moranis and Annie potts a good game to have for any true Ghostbuster fan and video gamer ah remember the 80's what a decade.

I needed this so I could have put my Playstation Eye on top of my TV for the PS3 Eye camera mainly for the better angle. I recently just bought the PS3 Move bundle. I didn't like putting it under the TV, because of the corded wire the Playstation Eye comes with, and it got in the way of my other things I put on the TV stand as well. I now have it sitting on top of my tv because of the clip, and the cord is behind the TV. Now my TV stand is more clear, neat, and organized.

The PS3 Move Clip is awesome. I opened the box, clipped on the Playstation Eye to it. I just then rested it onto top of my TV. It was that easy. It has a secure fit, and you don't have to worry about it slipping or falling off. No worries about damaging your TV as well. It has padding in which it will protect your TV. It will also protect your Playstation Eye from scratching as well because it fits right into the clip. As shown in the video clip my LCD didn't have a flat surface on top and even if it did have a flat surface, I'd still buy it so I wouldn't have to worry about my Playstation Eye falling off. Due to things like from gaming (vibrations). I have an Philips LCD which has the outer ring for the ambilight feature, and because of this I couldn't put the Playstation Eye on top of my TV. So I bought this clip for it, and it's simply perfect for it. Gaming will be more fun now, and not having to worry about interference. When the Playstation Eye was on the bottom of the TV, I didn't like the angle that much. Even though you can adjust the Playstation Eye, it didn't cover the entire range I wanted it to be in. Now that it's on top, it has a better view of me. Playstation Move will be fun to play with more now, and I can't wait for the other amazing games to come out such has Time Crisis: Razing Storm and Fight: Lights Out. I already own Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, and recently just bought Heavy Rain (from amazon's goldbox deal). I bought it mainly because it's PS3 Move compatible.

Purchased 2 of these and they both work great! One now sits on top of my older Sony KDS-60A3000 rear-projection LCD HDTV and the other sits on top of my Samsung 46C750 LCD HDTV. The clip adjusts nearly 180 degrees so each fits snugly while accommodating the Playstation Eye perfectly.

As a long-time owner of the PS Eye, I don't know why someone didn't come up with this sooner. Well worth the $12.99 purchase cost to easily and harmlessly mount the PS Eye on top of your flatscreen TV and to avoid the PS Eye slipping off its high perch.

I have a SONY 52-XBR9 and was worried that this would not fit correctly or would scratch the top of the TV, but fortunately there is padding in place of where it clips onto the tv. It does not clip on hard to where it would damage any part of the TV. It is snug and just sits in place. Also, the camera lens is still adjustable.

I would recommend this for anyone who is wanting to place their PS3 Eye on top of their LCD.

I didnt want to spring for the 40 dollar TV mount for the Xbox Kinect so bought this instead. It works absolutely fine and fits nicely for a Kinect. Note it of course does not lock it into place like the PS3 Eye, but provides a flat spot on the top of your TV where you can simply set the Kinect. If you have a solid TV you should be fine. If your TV wobbles some when you are jumping up and down from playing your Kinect then it might fall off. So just use a little tape and common sense and save yourself nearly 30 bucks by getting this instead of the official Xbox Kinect TV mount.

I've added an image showing me using it with my Kinect.

I will make this short but even though I do not like import games this is still worth getting I have no regrets. After a week of play and unlocking most of the planes to build this game rocks. I really hope a sequel comes out in Japan. There are menu translations floating around the internet for those of us who cannot speak or read Japanese. These help allot.

The only thing missing from this game besides a space map or two is pvp. It would be awesome and pretty crazy to have about 16 to 32 of us on the same map going at it. The combat is incredible. Soon I will be flying around with the black/yellow version of one of the original Valkyries off of Macross that Roy Focker used to fly on ultimate difficulty. Even though it's not the best plane if you fully upgrade the version 3 of it and flown right you can beat almost anything in the game. This takes skill though because I hear the ultimate difficulty is extremely hard that's why they gave us version 3's of the planes to build so we can do it.

Almost gave it 4 stars for lack of pvp but decided not to. I'm sure when I get to ultimate difficulty soon the dogfights will be pretty hard to almost impossible but I will know soon enough.

It's an absolute shame that somehow HG still owns international rights to Macross; it's pretty much destroyed it outside of Japan. Because of this we will never see an English version all the we have ever gotten here is Macross butchered to a version called Robotech but it's better than nothing I guess. Too bad Macross has been getting resurgence in japan in the past 6 years and the only way we can experience it is to import everything.

I recommend buying this, get out of your comfort zone and import it it's the only way you will be able to play it.

There were only a couple of reviews for this product and they were pretty brief, so I thought I'd leave a review of my own and share my thoughts about the game.

I have played other Macross games on the PSP made by the same company, so I came in fairly confident that I wouldn't have difficulty picking this game up. My Japanese is only at a 1st/2nd grade level, so I can generally figure out the basics. Having said that, this game is actually a bit different from the handheld versions and does require a bit more Japanese knowledge. Fortunately, there is an amazing translation guide that should be fairly easy to find via a Google search that will help out. If you have no Japanese knowledge at all (or even just a little like myself), you'll probably want to keep that guide handy!

So, why exactly might you need help? Well, this game is an open-world style game where you have main quests that lead you around the world in a fairly straight-forward manner, but there are loads and loads of side quests that aren't always so obvious to those of us not able to read too much Japanese. Thankfully, it never gets too complicated in terms of what you need to do, mostly destroying X number of enemies, clearing out a dungeon, or collecting X items. If you've played MMOs before, you'll feel right at home.

As you'd expect from a game celebrating 30 years of Macross, you'll find (almost) all the characters you know and love from the franchise. (Although if you're wanting to see Roy Fokker, I'm afraid to say he's sadly not in the game.) Given the heavy musical themes from the various series', the ladies of Macross blessed with wonderful singing voices play a significant role in the story. If you're a fan of the music, you'll get your fill here. The vocalists you chose to support you will sing their notable tracks during combat and provide various bonuses and benefits, which is quite a blast.

And, of course, all the Valkyries are here with their custom add-on packs. This is where the game really shines, because the Valkyries are all a blast to pilot. The controls are smooth (I prefer control scheme C, but give A and B a try if you don't like it) and once you get a handle on all the things your Valkyrie is capable of in combat, you'll feel like a real pilot in no time. The more enemies you destroy and quests you complete, the more points you will earn to customize and upgrade the Valkyries to suit your playstyle. There are a lot of choices on what to upgrade when it comes to the Valkyrie and the weapons, but unfortunately the weapon loadouts themselves are locked. Each Valkyrie gets three weapons in addition to a standard machine gun/sniper rifle, but you can't pick which three it comes loaded with as it is a standard set for each fighter. Really, this is just an excuse to fly a variety of Valkyries over the course of the game depending on what type of loadout you need so it's a pretty minor complaint.

The graphics are good quality and what you'd expect for a late-generation PS3 game, though there can be slowdown at times when there are too many fighters shooting dozens of missiles at once. The cutscenes are animated well and from what I can tell, the voice acting throughout the game is top notch as the original voice actors have reprised their roles in most cases. I do personally like that they did not update the character models for older characters, but that might be jarring for some newer fans. Clearly characters from the original series look much more dated compared to their Macross F counterparts. The original characters added for the story are enjoyable additions as well.

I have found some minor flaws in the game, but overall there is really very little to complain about. It's well worth the money for the time you'll spend and there is a New Game+ for even more replayability. If you're a Macross fan, this is a game you should have in your collection!

Buy PS3 Macross 30 The Voice that Connects the Galaxy Import Japan Now

So a lot of games will sit there and tell you that they are based on your favorite television show, or movies. This game has got to be the best example of capturing every little nuance about said show or movie you could imagine! From the sudden Missile Storm, reminiscent of the Macross universe, to the most amazing and emotion churning songs done by some of the most famous anime 'Divas' you can think of, Macross 30 will keep you playing over and over again!

Having access to 'Valkyries' from across the various shows and movies, from the origins short series 'Macross: Zero,' to the 25th anniversary show 'Macross: Frontier' as well as at least one new fighter built specifically for the game, you can watch as it grows! Most of your favorite characters return for the game as well and the best part about it is, all but one of the voice actors have come back to reprise their roles (let me amend that to all but one of them if my research serves me right)! Familiar enemies even return, from Zentradi Regult Battlepods, to Vajura, including a few appearances by a very old nemesis will keep you wanting to see just when they will pop up next. Control schemes are solid, graphics are wonderful, and an all-star music selection rounds out the amazing qualities of this game.

The only fault...its in Japanese and Japanese only. Unless you can speak or read the language you wont get to understand much of the story, but the characters individual facial expressions as well as background music cues make it a little understandable. It is also hard to understand the side missions and items usefulness as well, but fortunately there is a near perfect translation guide available if you search for the Red Shoulders translation guide.

Even with the language problem, this game is a must have for any Macross fan! Since its on PS3, it also avoids the worry of Regional coding by being blu-ray which should eliminate any worries about playing it on your stock system!

Cheers everyone, and enjoy!

First of all, because this information is not available ANYWHERE ELSE on the web trust me, I looked here are the dimensions of one pod: 4.75" wide, edge to edge. 5.5" wide, corner to corner. And 5" deep. I have no idea why that's so difficult for anyone else to provide, so there you go. You're welcome. Now, on to an actual review...

Initial impression, right out of the box, these things look and feel cheap. As another reviewer commented, they do not slide together smoothly. Some connections are too loose, others too tight. Also, the clear plastic covering the LEDs is also entirely too thin, and positioned in the wrong place; it's behind the "silver" (it's plastic, but painted to look like metal) frame, instead of the front. I think that was a poor decision.

And, the cords are too short, needlessly limiting the flexibility of arrangements. You might think you could arrange the lights in "any" configuration, but that's not the case. If you wanted to put all four lights in a row, for example, with the control box at one end, you cannot do that, as each wire is only long enough to span the width of two pods. Therefore, whatever arrangement you choose, the control box needs to be in the center.

My initial quality impression was clearly not a good one, BUT, that's because I hadn't turned them on! Once these things are doing their thing, I have to say, they are awesome, and ridiculously fun. I cannot believe how much I enjoy them. They respond to music fantastically, and even though I had bought them specifically for Rock Band, but I find myself turning them on even just listening to CDs. I like them so much, I've mounted them on the wall. They look great, and now that I'm not actually touching them, all signs of their cheap construction have become almost entirely unnoticeable.

I bought two sets of four, and I'm glad I did. I'm actually considering buying more! They do have their flaws, and I felt it fair you be made aware of them, but nevertheless, they're definitely worth buying especially more than one set!

they do fire up based on sound beats. connection is easy wish the wires connecting the lights to the pod were longer it is an issue when you try to allign them in a staright line. the power chord for one of the lights did not work but was promptly replaced by amazon. if they could work out the wire lenght problem I wld give them a 5 star but otherwise they are what they are.

If you are like me and just enjoy working your way through a campaign (rather than getting involved in all the multiplayer aspects of the game) then this is too short. My assumption is that most people buying now, way after BC2 was originally released, fall into the same category of buyer as me. However, that being said, it's only $18 and the graphics and overall gameplay are great.

Okay the game is fun, but anyone who plays Battlefield or Battlefield Bad Company, knows that most the fun is online play. However EA crippled the greatest hits edition by not including the VIP code for "first hand purchasers" so that you can't download new maps. Which means you can play all of 4 maps online. It sucks badly. Seriously I spent forever looking for my code and couldn't find it, then had to search the internet to find out this version didn't come with it.

This game is only okay. The actual game is good, but it is easily beaten within a short time. However, the online gaming experience is what really makes this game good. The places are great and I like how there are different online games to play.

The one player game: Okay.

Multiplayer: Great.

I love the battlefield series, but hate that EA didn't include the VIP code, that means you can only play 4 multi player maps, if you buy Greatest Hits, buy it used, because it won't have VIP anyways! It costs 10 dollars to unlock the other 12 maps, not including Vietnam

Having bought both NBA 07 and 2K7, I preferred the former. In many ways 2K7 may be the better basketball game, but I just didn't find it to be as much fun (which is why I sold it).

Pros:

If you are looking for a faster action, offense oriented game....this is the one to buy.

The graphics look very good; i'm not sure where the negative reviews are coming from on this one. Granted, I've not played the game on HDTV...but it looks great even in standard def. Both 2K7 and NBA07 were good here, but I think NBA07 wins out here.

The gameplay is solid when you get used to it, and personally I actually like the bar that comes up for shooting.

The mini-games are fun, especially shooting around for the most points with a group of friends.

The online options and downloads are good, though admittedly I use them alot less than just playing the season mode.

I really hated the gimmicky way that 2K7 used the motion sensor to shoot free throws. The motion sensor might be a really great technology for some games (it works very well in Flow, for instance), but was tacked on in 2K7 and didn't work for me.

Cons:

Isn't as deep as 2K7. There is a season mode, but no franchise/dynasty mode. This isn't a big deal for me, as 82 games in a season is a ton to get through anyway.

You can only have one season saved at once, so far as I can tell.

The defensive AI is *much* weaker than 2K7. Really, it is a joke at times. Unless you want to play center and hope to snag rebounds, playing a person at anywhere other than near the basket is a sure way to give up easy points. For me this isn't a big deal because I like an offensive oriented game, but if you want a more realistic game, get 2K7.

It takes a little adjusting to the game, especially on defense.

I'm not gonna lie, This game looks amazing. It truly shows how nice the PS3 can make the games look. Although a few people say the characters look like plastic. It still shows off the great resolution.

The Bad and the reason why the 2 stars.

The game play is horrendous. The game focused so much on "fancy" dunks that there is no defense playable whatsoever. The instant you go for a dunk, YOU CANNOT STOP IT. I've made dunks over 4 people all jumping. The game looks amazing but if you want to have an all around basketball game. This is not it.

Buy NBA '07 Now

The Playstation 3 needs some good sports titles. There isn't much right now, pretty much Madden, NBA 2k7 and of course NBA o7. NBA 07 was developed in-house by Sony. The series has been relesed on both the PS2 and PSP with only average reviews. Thankfully, this version does not suffer the same fate, it's a good game of hoops even though you have a much better choice with NBA 2k7. But if you like basketball like I do, you might want to consider this one too, just because it's a different experience.

What stands out is the graphics. The graphics are top notch, and I feel in most ways, it's a better looking game than 2k7 due to the incredible player models and stadium details. In true 1080 HD, the game is really sweet too look at. It really struts some of the power of the PS3 has to offer. Smooth crisp animations, nice player models, terrific reflections on the court, realistic stadiums and excellent use of vibrant colors and dripping sweat to boot! The player models are not perfect. The players look to sweat a little profusely and when this happens, they look a bit "manequinish", is that a word? I guess you can say they resemble a zombie in a round about sort of way. But you'll only notice on replays, timeouts and closeups, so it's only a minor gripe. But the players faces look very much like their real counterparts and they even got the hair down to a tee.

Gameplay wise, I would describe it as a 70% sim and 30% arcade feel. The gamep plays at an amazing fast pace and there is lot of scoring. The defense A.I. still needs some work, I noticed too many easy holes to the basket as my computer controlled teammates do not seem to help out in the lane when they should. One thing also that really bothered me was that very annoying shot meter. It's difficult to perfect it, as it seems to want just that, "perfection" to make a shot. Luckily, the shot meter thing can be disabled,so if you have problems like me making open jumpers, just turn it off. Other problems are with player fatigue issues. I noticed players being tired really doens't seem to affect them when their still oncourt. I've had guys below 50% and they were still moving fast and making shots on the court like they were fully rested from the bench. This is certainly an issue if you want realism and if you play online as substitutions are basically not needed. They need to patch this up.

Ouch. You would think of the slick presentation with TNT by it's side, you would think we would have a great tv style presentation. Well, good stat screens and cool TV replays are nice, but where the heck is my commentary? NBA 07 is lacking any commentary whatsoever. All you hear is the P.A. announcer. This is a major bummer and considering this is a next gen title, leaving out commentary is a big no-no.

Online play for the most part seems to be pretty smooth, I only notice a few laggy games, of course a lot depends on your connection. The modes are pretty bareboned, typical Season, Exhibition and a few mini-game which are actually very fun. The NBA Replay mode lets you replay games from the past week (in real life) and alter the ending. It's a good experience and with so many scnerios each week from the NBA, this mode is fun and will keep you busy. There are no deep franchise modes or the "The life" mode offered in the PS3 version, which is a bit disappointing. You would think a full priced NBA game for the PS3 would be loaded, but it still seems to a bit lacking.

Overall, I really liked NBA 07. The on-court gameplay is very good and is a good change up from 2k7. It's a game anyone can jump into and most will have fun with it. A few issues in the gameplay and lacking modes keeps it from being a must have. IF you only want to get one game, I would say NBA 2k7 is your best bet, it's still the best basketball game on the market.

This allows you to turn your PS3 into a Karaoke machine. It comes with two mics that work well and 30 songs. It won't be that much fun if you just buy this game and only sing the songs it comes with. You just gotta sign onto the PS3 store and buy the songs you like for $1.49 each. I found tons that I like, but don't expect to get EVERY song you like. The library is currently 1400 songs, but PS3 adds like 50 songs every month.

This Singstar is a nice karaoke game with a slick interface and actual music videos of the artists (which, really, is much nicer than watching generic animated characters perform the songs).

At the end of the day though, there's nothing that really separates this iteration of the series from previous Singstar or Karaoke Revolution games. The microphones included work well (though, they are wired, which is important to know...and you have to use the proprietary Singstar mics).

If you want a karaoke game for the PS3, this is as good a starter option as the original SingStar Bundle, though this volume has some boosted online capabilities (e.g., Remote Play functionality), if that matters to you. Really, if you are trying to decide between Volume 1 & 2, I'd look at the songl ists, as those differences are the only major differences.

One gripe that I have is with the online Singstore (where you can buy and download more songs for the game) The selection in the Singstore is decidedly European in taste (lots of songs that were hits in Europe or internationally; songs that were only big in the US are generally missing). Also, the US Singstore doesn't seem very well supported, with only infrequent updates (especially compared with the Rock Band equivalent). Nevertheless, we've bought several songs from the store, and we've enjoyed having the option to add to our collection (though this is a pretty standard feature in music games these days).

Overall, Singstar is a fun party game that makes for enjoyable karaoke and doesn't require keeping a pile of absurd plastic musical instruments in your living room.

I failed epicly at Rock Band and Guitar Hero. So I wanted something that I can do to annoying my teenage child. This does the trick!

Nice variety of music. Different options to battle or sing solo. Easy to set up and use.

Though I think its cheaper to buy songs on a package like this, instead of individually. You have to use the PS3 controller to move around, that is a negative for me. But that's just Mom talk for you!

Thanks to Disney Sing It I am once again the favorite aunt! Seriously, I don't know what the complaint about this game is. The song list for my neices, ages 5 and 4 are perfect. They knew all of the songs and loved singing all of them for the crowd at their party. My oldest neice had the time of her life singing these songs and she was more than happy to let her little sister in on the fun as well. Not every song is a song that we as older Disney fans love, but the younger kids watch the Disney station alot and hear these songs over and over again and really, who is this game for? The kids loved it, well made and well done!

To those who enjoy Disney movies, this is a must own. Singing the songs here will bring you great nostalgia. Its fun for any age(there is EXPERT mode for grownups). I wont say much more cuz most other reviewers here said it already. And like them, my problem is the song selection. Beauty and the Beast got one of the best song catalog, yet only one is used.

Hoping for an announcement/release of Disney Sing-It: Family Hits 2 soon! Or else... Nerdrage!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Buy Disney Sing It: Family Hits Bundle Now

The song selection is a really bad! They put song from Lilo & Stitch 2!? C'mon, what is that?!

There are NO songs from Pocahontas!? Not even one!?

There is only one song from the Little Mermaid (Under the sea) and one from Beauty and the Beast (Be our guest). Where are "Part of your world", "Beauty and the Beast", "Whistle while you work" and "Something There"?! Instead, they included songs from Toy Story, Cars and stuff?! I don't see this game is called Pixar: Family Hits... shame, shame... and also, there's even 4 songs from Cinderella, and they're all pretty boring, let's be honest... :)

The big party breaker was also the fact that the songs are exact songs as ripped from movies, so over half of "Can you feel the love tonight" and "I just can't wait to be king" is Pumbaa, Timon, Simba and Zazu talking?!

The game is incredibly easy, which is understandable as it's probably aimed at little kids; but still, it's funny how Anika Noni Rose is always saying you sang something awesomely, even when your score is really bad?! :)

I just hope they'll add more songs, somehow...

I've been gaming since the early 80's, so there's my disclaimer. Don't get me wrong, I love the innovation and compelling storytelling/gameplay of today's next-gen console games, but they really don't possess what us older gamers appreciate as being at the core of "gaming;" Modern games just don't give you the ability to self-actualize, to learn something about yourself through the trials and tribulations of endless exploration and frustration, the brutal and unforgiving gameplay that you jump into without a tutorial, without a back story, without a cutscene. Give me something interesting, something challenging. Something to be proud of having figured out and beaten. Enter Terraria. This is a modern game with an old school flair about it. Extremely minimalistic in terms of plot and visuals, but so clever and downright ambitious with the level of detail provided. For instance, it's getting dark out. I need to build myself a shelter because tons of enemies come out after dark. Once done, I can build a workbench to place in my shelter. With a workbench I can create an anvil and furnace, turn ore into bricks, craft weapons and armor to fend off those nasties now lurking noisily outside my door. Combine materials to produce interesting new items. The possibilities are endless. And on that note, I want to point something out about this game that I believe is both groundbreaking and completely unique. This game renders the world around you in real-time as you advance through it. Just think about that for a moment. Want to tunnel into the earth and explore underground chasms, mineral deposits, and kill enemies that lurk below? Go for it. Keep going. And going. It's okay, the game will generate more world for you to explore. Randomly. Meaning never the same experience twice. How completely revolutionary...a game with infinite potential for replay and yet so simplistic. Or is it?

Am I happy that Terraria was released on the PS3!

For people who have not heard of this game, it started as an indie game, with a retro graphic style.

This serves 2 purposes:

1. this is a throwback, a tribute to the 8 bit era, when games really flourished.

2. it is to remind us, despite all the flashy technology, that gaming is not about graphics, but gameplay.

You start off choosing things like difficulty, creating your character, etc. then you get started on your adventure in 2D side-scrolling goodness.

I'm not going to spoil it for you guys, but you get to use different items and weapons, different enemies, environments, and also get to meet other players in-game. The official description is: "Terraria is a land of adventure! A land of mystery! A land that's yours to shape, to defend and to enjoy. Your options in Terraria are limitless. Are you an action gamer with an itchy trigger finger? A master builder? A collector? An explorer? There's something for everyone here."

The experience is hard to describe, very much like Minecraft in 2D. It involves a lot of exploration and adventuring, bashing monsters, digging for ore, collecting materials, and assembling items. All I have to say is, you have to try it for yourself. All in a vibrant 2D presentation.

Too bad there is no physical disc for the PS3 US and EU markets, and I was quite disappointed. The trade-off is that the price is lowered. If you really must have the physical copy, you can import it from the Japanese market.

However, if you are outside of Japan, it would be a good idea to get this version. The game would be DLC, but you get the bonuses which are quite fun to have.

I actually took this game back to the store (a used games store) telling the sales clerk that the person didn't put the actual game in the box; just the extras.

No. I was wrong. Apparently some marketing genius over at Sony thought it would make more sense for me to go out to a store and buy a card to download the game when I can download it already off of Playstation Network. How does that make any sense? The price is cheaper? So what?

Keep the "Collector's Box", plastic pick axe and all the other "extras" crap and just put the damn game on a disc. IDIOTS!

I also bought this in a store and had to return it because it's not actually in the box. Durrr if I'm getting it in a store why would I want to download it? Very annoying.

I accidentally stepped on the empty case to my PS3 copy of "Saints Row The Third" and pretty much destroyed the plastic container it was in. This is the exact same kind of plastic case it was in, so when I got it, I just took the artwork out of the destroyed case and put it in this new one and it's like brand new! It should work with any PS3 game that doesn't come in a steelbook or "collector's edition book" (like "Watchmen: The End is Nigh") so if you need a replacement case, get this one!

These cases are great replacements for ones that are broken. They are the same size and dimensions. The only difference between these and the original ones is the placement of the "Blu-Ray" logo. On the original cases, it is on the upper right hand side of the case, and these are in the top center, but that isn't a big deal.

Overall, I would recommend these to anyone who needs some new cases.

One of them came broken, which is the primary reason i gave this 2 stars. For pretty expensive replacement cases i expected them to at least be usable. The PS3 slim case art is a bit smaller than the sleeve on the case. However when they're not broken they make an excellent replacement.

This was the first game i beat on my ps3 and the first metal gear game i beat(except for metal gear acid!, which is non-canon and a card game). After beating this game i became a huge metal gear fan, and instantly dusted off my ps2 and beat metal gear solid 2, metal gear solid 3, the original metal gear solid on ps1 and metal gear solid portable ops on the psp. This game was so good i wanted to go back and play all the mgs games i had not played. Ive heard some people say if your not a metal gear fan steer clear of this game i disagree though. metal gear solid 4, was the first metal gear game i beat and the story made sense, the game play was so good i couldn't put the controller down. After i beat metal gear 1,2,3, and PO, I went back and beat mgs 4 again and picked up on a lot of mgs inside jokes i completely missed on my first play thru. So my advice is get this game. Prior metal gear storyline knowledge is not a must, but does enhance the game. This game is so good it stands on its own as a great game and more then likely will make you a metal gear addict and make you want to play the older versions to fill in all the gaps.

I'm writing this review for all of those out there who see the high ratings/reviews (and even the crappy reviews) and still wonder if this is the game for them. For some of you it will be, and for some others it won't be.

Let me begin by saying, if you don't like stealth-action games, then you won't like this game. Pick your genre well when playing games, and you'll be set. However, if you like being stealthy, shooting enemies from a hidden vantage point, and the like, then you get plenty of that with this game. You can (and sometimes have to) change your stealth tactics depending on your environment: middle eastern battle fields, jungle environments, sneaking through the rainy streets of western Europe... all those and others can be approached in various ways.

On that note, the sheer number of choices you get in the game really make for a robust and dynamic game play feeling. You can choose from a multitude of weapons and distances to attack from. You can even choose to go hand to hand if you like. You could go all Rambo on them and blast everything in sight until you can escape or you can go through the entire game without killing a soul, if you really want a challenge.

The amount of varied game play is also worth taking note of. This is going from one style (first/third person shooter from Snake running/sneaking around) to a completely different style (the obligatory off the back of a vehicle chase style of MGS) to others that are even different still. I won't purposefully ruin anything, but the final two types are pretty epic and wonderfully appropriate for the final type.

There are a lot of complaints that the game has too many cut scenes and a complicated story that is too hard to follow. This game is meant to wrap the entire MGS series up to an ultimate ending. That will require a decent amount of story presented in a series of movie style cut scenes (and near movie quality by the way). However, I can assure you that there is plenty of game play in the game to balance out the cut scenes (the quickest you can beat the game is apparently somewhere around five hours, though I haven't gotten under six... and that's almost just running through the game and skipping every single cut scene including the very long last one).

Lastly, the replay factor is pretty high as one can use entertaining ammo (won't ruin anything here), the usual stealth cammo for near perfect invisibility, special weapons, and a bunch of unlockables based on the ratings/achievements you receive at the end of the game. All that while being able to collect more DP (money) to buy tons of stuff from the weapons dealer.

This game caters to those who are more casual stealth gamers to even difficult enough to challenge the most hard core stealth gamers out there (some ratings require insane marks to be met such as never being spotted, not killing anyone including bosses, not using a single continue, not using a single health regen item, and all that while completing the game in a really short period of time... like 5 hours). That all leads back to the number of choices the player has in the game. Your choices dictate how hard the game is for you (even beyond the choice of easy, normal, and hard when the game is started).

Let me say again, if you don't like MGS, stealth games, or robust/complex game play and story, then avoid this game as it was meant for people who do like some or all of those things. If you do like some or all of those things, then, chances are, you'll love this game for what it has to offer.

All that and I didn't even talk about how awesome the graphics are or how varied the boss tactics are... just know that the game deserves the ratings and good reviews it got based on the type of game it is.

Outside of Uncharted 2, I dont really know of any other PS3 game that comes close to how good Metal Gear Solid 4 is.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is a story about an rapidly aging artifically created soldier by the name of Solid Snake, who is seeking to thwart the evil plans of a man by the name of Liquid Ocelot. Solid Snake goes through about 4 or 5 acts in the game, each scenery or locale drastically different from the previous one. Here are the pros:

1. You have control over what type of game you want: action or stealth. This game gives you a wide assortment of weapons, and you could easily go through it blasting away(of course, it depends on what difficulty level you have selected...you dont last long with this technique in "Big Boss" mode). You could also go through the game without a bad guy ever seeing you. What I love is that there are still are scene that require you to use weapons. For someone who wants to use stealth for the whole game with the exception of these mandatory shoot em up scenes, its sheer brilliance.

2. the visuals are spectacular, especially in 1080p. The visual transition quality from cut scenes to live game play are almost seamless.

3. Voice acting is above par, to the point where some characters are actually pretty annoying. (Snakes assortment of grunts, and Octacon being annoying as f***)

4. Not every act requires the same actions or goals. The game plays out like a movie, with different creative objectives in each chapter.

Cons:

1. I would say that the game feels short for being so epic.

2. Too many cutscenes. Sometimes it feels like half the game is just cutscene after cutscene, but thats inherent in any metal gear game.

This is a must have for any ps3 owner.

Title pretty much sums up my feelings.

MGS4 is and probably always will be the best stealth action game of all time. There is simply no half way here. Kojima has finally perfected his 3D world that he started with Metal Gear Solid. Every area has more thought put into it than most full-length games for sale out now. The story wraps up the franchise in a unique and thought-provoking manner.

Oh? You have a problem with complex, moving stories that encompass the faults and triumphs of human behavior?

I pity the fool that would bash this game for its cut scenes.

There is only one con of this game: after you play it, you'll look at your other games and just sit there wishing they were as cool.

Buy it, Play it, LOVE IT
