The Sharpshooter can now be had for $20. at Gamestop and has a lot more features then this! I got this because my Gamestop told me that the Sharpshooter was $40. however it was mislabeled and it came up in the computer later at $20. I used this for Modern combat 3 and Killzone 3 and for Modern combat 3(Not to be confused with Modern warfare 3) it was impossible to use because there were no ways of getting at the PS Move buttons where as the sharp shooter has the buttons remapped closer to your hand. For Killzone 3 you can use the shake to reload and thrust to melee but this causes your guy to make weird motions and get you killed. It's not bad for rail shooters but that's not what it was meant for and the sharp shooter can do that better to! So just get the sharpshooter because if you get this you will be very disappointed.

Worried about gas going over $4 a gallon, then have the hulk pound all the cars into scrap metal. The mortgage crisis have you down? Have the hulk smash every building in the whole city to rubble!

The hulk is a priceless way to ease your mind and release stress.Who doesn't like beating up helpless civilians then tossing them a mile into the sky or in a lake.

This in my opinion is the best hulk game ever. Even better than ultimate destruction.

The graphics look awesome. The models look very detailed and the textures look sharp and vibrant. The city really feels alive, from the cars and trucks driving around on their waypoints to the pedestrians walking along the city streets. To take the immersion up a notch, vehicles will actually hit reverse or turn sharply to avoid the big green dude.

Theres plenty to do in this city, from random encounters with squads of enclave that shoot at civilians and blow up buildings or the boss villians that appear randomly, to smashing cars, beating up civilians, destroying buildings or if your threat level gets too high even crushing tanks or fighting the Kyklops which is a robot taller than a building that will stomp the hulk with his foot. Then theres the twisted crazy taxi mini-game where the hulk carries taxi cabs to their destinations!

The game makes great use of the havok physics engine, EVERYTHING can be damaged or destroyed in ultra cool fashion and most debris can be used by the hulk as some kind of weapon. A good example is when Ironclad picks up a car and pummels it over the hulks head! Something I never grow tired of doing is throwing cars into the side of buildings and watching it become lodged there.

This game has a highly detailed, beautiful open-ended city to completely destroy.Plenty of extra's like different skins and mini games to unlock. Many villians like the enclave, u-foes, military, mechs, robots to fight just to name a few, the action never ends...

If you like destruction then this game's for you.

I'm going to admit right out, I haven't finished this game. I haven't bothered playing past the first NY mission. I am having WAY too much fun just running around, jumping, climbing buildings, and destroying things. The environment is HUGE, and everything can be smashed to rubble. I beat people on the street up with a GIANT TACO.

A GIANT TACO!

ANY game that lets you smash up pedestrians with a giant taco is unarguably seething with EPIC WIN. I only wish I could take the Hulk across the river to destroy New Jersey.

The prices for this game are outrageous. I had a man tell me at a flea market the game was worth $130 I scoffed and said no sir im no fool. Low and behold here it is. The people seelling this game are apparently price gouging. You would only pay $60 for this brand new and that was when it first came out. Its at walmart for no more than $40 right now. If you are a novice video game buyer and dont know better please dont purchase (even new) for even close to $130. A collectors eddition of any game is $100 and thats with loads of extra actual physical items. Ie. Statues, books, collectors box, and in game extra content. Again if you bought this recently get your money back or if you want to buy new go to gamestop or walmart. Avoid the sham and keep your hard earned money.

Sincerely,

Sgt Evan Thompson/USMC

I am really glad that I bought this package. I really had some concerns about this products at first, such as the quality and the easiness but I can easily say that the contents of the package are really more than what I expected. It is really funny when you are playing PS3 Move Games with a bow or with a gun on your hand instead of the basic motion controller...

Only downside is the handle of the sword and the golf kit. They both share the same handle and it is sometimes hard to eject the motion controller from them.

One keynote: when playing with gun, you can get really tired because of the weight... You may want to buy the rifle as well...

Product looks amazing! Even came with instructions if you have trouble, or don't know how to put on. I didn't use the Windex method, just slowly and carefully applied the sticker to my PS3 Slim console and it worked fine. My former decal skin didn't stick very well and when my system heated it would come off. This decal however continues to stay on. Great quality and highly recommend this for all LBP fans and someone looking to put decal skins over their PS3. It sticks and stays, I love it!

This allows you to turn your PS3 into a Karaoke machine. It comes with two mics that work well and 30 songs. It won't be that much fun if you just buy this game and only sing the songs it comes with. You just gotta sign onto the PS3 store and buy the songs you like for $1.49 each. I found tons that I like, but don't expect to get EVERY song you like. The library is currently 1400 songs, but PS3 adds like 50 songs every month.

This Singstar is a nice karaoke game with a slick interface and actual music videos of the artists (which, really, is much nicer than watching generic animated characters perform the songs).

At the end of the day though, there's nothing that really separates this iteration of the series from previous Singstar or Karaoke Revolution games. The microphones included work well (though, they are wired, which is important to know...and you have to use the proprietary Singstar mics).

If you want a karaoke game for the PS3, this is as good a starter option as the original SingStar Bundle, though this volume has some boosted online capabilities (e.g., Remote Play functionality), if that matters to you. Really, if you are trying to decide between Volume 1 & 2, I'd look at the songl ists, as those differences are the only major differences.

One gripe that I have is with the online Singstore (where you can buy and download more songs for the game) The selection in the Singstore is decidedly European in taste (lots of songs that were hits in Europe or internationally; songs that were only big in the US are generally missing). Also, the US Singstore doesn't seem very well supported, with only infrequent updates (especially compared with the Rock Band equivalent). Nevertheless, we've bought several songs from the store, and we've enjoyed having the option to add to our collection (though this is a pretty standard feature in music games these days).

Overall, Singstar is a fun party game that makes for enjoyable karaoke and doesn't require keeping a pile of absurd plastic musical instruments in your living room.

I failed epicly at Rock Band and Guitar Hero. So I wanted something that I can do to annoying my teenage child. This does the trick!

Nice variety of music. Different options to battle or sing solo. Easy to set up and use.

Though I think its cheaper to buy songs on a package like this, instead of individually. You have to use the PS3 controller to move around, that is a negative for me. But that's just Mom talk for you!

Its a knock off of the G-Pack, the pictures make it look like the same thing, but its not. It snugly fits the PS3, but forget the 4 controllers. It fits 3 controllers, all the cords needed to play, and 16 games. Compared to the G-Pack it seems to have a little less padding, but it protects it from bumps and scratches. The fold open port in the back isn't big enough to plug in the power cord, so you can't really play it out of the case, not that I was planning to anyways, all in all not to shabby.

Video games, like any other industry out there, is about the money. There's no two ways about it. I say that before anything else because despite that, there are rare moments when the desire for profit crosses paths with the oportunity for a true labor of love. The Beatles: Rock Band is one of those moments and I want to make that clear before I shower the game with praise so no one misunderstands this review as naive because, this game is truly, a touching homage to what has been called the world's greatest band.

Just when game rival Guitar Hero seemed to be pulling away in the race by featuring games with some of the world's most famous bands (Van Halen, Aerosmith, Metallica etc...), developer Harmonix drops the rock equivalent of an atomic bomb by making a game of what is arguably the most famous band of all. The fact that the game has been released at all is a miracle in and onto itself given the people involved, but the fact that such a beautiful game has come out of it is really remarkable. The Beatles: Rock Band features the same basic gameplay of the Rock Band franchise but with some adjustments to ensure a fluid gaming experience.

The object of this game is to follow the band's legendary career from its humble, catchy-pop-rock begginings in Liverpool to their innovative and creative peak of their final years. You play as The Beatles no character creation hereand begin playing in The Cavern, the little dingy club where they began playing. From there you play the Ed Sullivan Show, followed by their historic concert in Shea Stadium. From there its on to Japan for their controversial performance in Budokan. All these venues are meticously recreated. The Ed Sullivan show set is particularlly impressive. For those of us who have watched this moment in history through the grainy black and white recording that now stands the test of time, it is quite a revelation to see this in full color, even if it is a virtual recreation. After Budokan, the game takes quite a turn. Because the band stopped playing live (and therefore it would not be accurate to show them in a live arena on the game), the game then starts showing the band recording in the studio. (namely, Abbey Road)Every song begins with them playing in the main room then, like in some 60's acid trip, the scene turns into a dreamscape representation of whatever song you are playing. Sgt. Peppers and Iam the Walruss really pop out in my mind while I recall the game for this review. These dreamscapes are not only a homage to the band but to the era they helped define. Quite beautiful. The games final chapter is the band playing on the roof of Apple Records. Throughout the game, the band members are represented according to the particular point in time. From their clean cut, thin tie-wearing days in the early 60's to the colorful Sgt. Pepper's faux-military garb to their long hair and beard period. Each band memeber is represented beautifuly.

Playing the game unlocks rare recordings, pictures and other nuggets of Beatle history. This is awsome in itself for anyone who would like to dive deeper into Beatles lore. But the one feature that sets this game apart from Rock Band is the harmonies. Up to six people can now play the game: Three playing instruments and three singing the harmonies which are an integral part of the band's music. The best way to describe the harmonies feature is: fun. Trying to nail the vocal parts is fun and depending on how well you sing, very funny. I find it extremely fitting that this feature is being released on a Beatles game.

If anything, the game is too short. Compared to Rock Band and RB 2, the number of songs is certainly lacking but that is par for the course on games that feature only one artist. Also, those already used to the sadistic difficulty of the harder songs in Rock Band games, will find this game quite easy. The Beatles music is deceptively simple, especially the earlier cuts, so the translation to the RB format is simple as well. Those looking for a challenge have two options: Trying to nail the harmony parts to perfection (not as easy as it sounds) or in true Beatles fashion, taking the challenge of playing an instrument and singing a vocal part simultaniously. I should also add, that more often than not, the bass parts are more difficult than the guitar ones (go Paul go!) There are some classic songs missing as well, which will be released online later. Hey Jude and Yesterday probably have the biggest following of those not included but I remind you guys, that those are piano pieces for the most part. Rather than making a weird attempt at translating the piano parts into guitar I'd much rather not see them in the game. Fancy me a purist.

All in all, this game is clearly a labor of love. The Harmonix staff(most of them, like me, frustrated musicians and band members themselves) have created a loving virtual image of this band. Yes, this game is part of a larger effort (that includes the re-release of all their albums)to put the band in the spotlight yet again, but this game could have easily fallen into the trappings that this type of release entails. Instead, this game honors tha bands legacy and history without resorting to cheap tricks or anything else that might tarnish the Beatles name. It would be easy for me to say that is for fans only but I would be lying. There is something here for everyone because The Beatle's music is that good. The hard core fan will enjoy the game no doubt but its the people not familiar with the band's music who have much to gain from this title. Just like RB and RB 2 have turned people to music and bands they would not have heard otherwise, The Beatles: Rock Band will give this generation a true glimpse of why The Beatles are called the greatest band ever. For all those reasons, I play this game and smile. Highly recommended.

If you have any love for the Beatles I cannot recommend this game enough! Singing along with George, John, Paul, and yes even Ringo has never been this fun! The game has moments that will absolutely resonate with any music lover: strumming along to Dear Prudence, playing the bass groove on I Want To Hold Your Hand, singing along with Lennon on Ticket To Ride.It just doesn't get any better. Please consider this is my first game of this type. The Beatles experience transforms an amusing video game concept into a entirely riveting experience!

Also don't forget that Rock Band/Harmonix currently has additional tracks for download from the Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road albums ( with additional albums on the way I.E. the sublime Rubber Soul in December). This game really transcends the whole music/rythm game genre. What can I say, I consider it "Fab"!

Buy The Beatles: Rock Band Now

I was a little worried to buy this. My concern was that it was just another Rock Band game that had the Beatles name slapped on it. It's obvious that for the creators this was a labor of love. The game is great if you're a Beatles fan. If you're not a Beatles fan, than you should probably look elsewhere. The Beatles are all characters in this game, so you can be John, George, Paul, or Ringo. The songs spann The Beatles entire career. You start off in the Cavern Club and work your way to the famous roof top concert. The guitars and drums look cool but I am still using Rock Band generation one equipment which works fine. Whether you're in the studio or playing a concert the graphics are cool with lots of psychedlic effects added in. Many of the songs have their own little shows (non-concert related) that go with them. The truth is that the game really is a Rock Band game. If your a Beatles fan than this will probably really appeal to you.

We don't have all the instruments, just a guitar hero guitar and a singstar microphones, but it works fine with the game. In fact, we played for several days just karaoke style. My 9 year old daughter and her friend played this for nearly 3 hours straight a few days after we got it...overall, really good fun; she's singing the songs to herself throughout the day. Even my wife who hates the playstation says this was a great purchase. Referencing some other reviews, I think it has enough songs included. I went onto the store and only found one that I wanted to purchase...I think the 40 or so that come with it are good unless you are a hardcore fan. There was only one song that I wanted that I couldn't find with the disc or online (Blackbird).

I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend, who is an avid Beatles fan. Started this up on XMas day and was amazed at the production quality of the game! This was done right-I can't imagine the Guitar Hero franchise doing this half as well as it was done. Graphics and sounds are amazing, songs are great, and the additional songs available from the PSN make the collection complete.

From the time I've started this game till now, I have enjoyed every single second of my journey. This is easily the game of the year, if not the decade. It is stunning graphically, pushing the PS3 to it's limits, and the world is seamless. If Rockstar never made another Grand Theft Auto, this could easily be the Magnum Opus of the series.

If you want the highlights, see the condensed version at the bottom.

Beginning:

When starting on the PS3 for the first time, expect a 10 to 15 minute install; story mode takes another 5 minutes to load. Once that is through, the game thrusts you into a heist as you learn the basic controls, most of which feel similar to GTA IV. You are also shown a new gameplay mechanic -switching characters on the fly. To do this, press and hold the down d-pad button, then with the right stick select the character in the wheel that pops up you want to control. After the introduction, there are some cutscenes as the player is shown a little bit of Los Santos. Once the scene is over, the player is left with a mission for Franklin. Finish the mission, and the world is yours to explore.

Story:

Welcome to Los Santos, with all the glitz and glamor you've come to expect, but corruption and crime runs rampant under the surface. Our -ahemheroes are Michael, a retired bank robber; Franklin, a repo man trying to do right and make his way up in the world; and Trevor, an unhinged, unpredictable maniac who used to run robberies with Michael. Michael is living the rich life with his dysfunctional family. Trevor is running repo jobs with his friend for a shady car salesman. Trevor is living in trailer park and causing mayhem trying to make some money. Each character is distinct, unique and and extremely interesting. You'll want to spend time with all three. The dialogue is well written and I found myself waiting to finish a mission or move into the highlighted spot until the characters were finished talking so I didn't miss anything.

Gameplay:

There are numerous improvements and upgrades to the classic Grand Theft Auto, all of which help makes a satisfying experience:

If you fail a section of a mission 3 times, can fast forward to next checkpoint but don't have to. If there was a frustrating aspect, like having to place first in a race to advance the story, now you can skip the frustration and move the story along; you can go back and finish it later, or not at all.

Special Abilities and Character Switching:

Each character has a special ability used by pressing L3 + R3. As Michael, you can slow down time while shooting. Franklin can slow down time while driving and gain extremely improved maneuverability (my favorite!). Trevor can go into a rage reducing damage he takes, delivering more damage to enemies, and has a special melee attack. The new mechanic of switching characters on the fly adds new gameplay possibilities, and lets you experience each character's unique perspective during heists. This allows you to be flexible in approach, and when things turn sour, use quick thinking and reflexes to make it out alive utilizing each characters skills. When not actively engaged in a criminal plot, switching the character zooms out on one, and then refocuses over the other character and zooms in. The character is often just finished with something as you take control; for instance at one point Franklin was leaving a Strip Club and I switched to Trevor once to find him being thrown out of a women's clothing store, with a dress on, complaining about wanting to try it before he buys it. These little things help to make each character feel alive and like they are all engaged in their own schedules when you're not playing them.

Abilities:

Performing certain actions improves your abilities. These abilities include driving, shooting, flying, lung capacity and a few others. When improved, the character has better aim, can run longer, or better driving skills. Leveling each skill requires the player to perform specific actions, for instance, to get better at driving hit top speeds, have near misses and pop wheelies on motorcycles. To increase each character's special ability, keep using it. To get better with guns, either get head shots or head down to the firing range. The different activities around Los Santos can help increase the skills.

Shooting:

Shooting is easy to do as well, and the targeting system can be customized. A player can choose traditional GTA style shooting, assisted aim, and free aim. Enemies can be quickly switched between by flicking the R stick. I have mine set to traditional GTA, where I hit L2 to aim and it snaps to a target for a few seconds before going to free aim. Holding L1 slows down time and brings up the weapon wheel: press the R stick to select a weapon, press the right or left d-pad button to change to a different type of weapon (for instance selecting to use a knife instead of fists). Guns also can be customized once purchased and fitted with flashlights, larger magazines, and silencers. The variety of weapons is quite large.

Random missions are scattered around the map, which appear as question marks (?). These generally have story elements tied to them and help flesh out the characters and the world. There are also blue/red blips that will randomly appear and you can choose to participate by getting close. One random blip early on had me help two morons robbing a store get away and one of them told me to call them if I ever need muscle. You may encounter the same random event more than once, but there is a nice variety. Purse snatching seems to be pretty common.

Size and Activities:

Los Santos is BIG. Open the map in your game case if you have a physical copy. One side shows the big city close up, with the other showing the whole area. Once in game, looking at that map and zooming in, it was nearly overwhelming to see just how large the world is. Better yet, there are no barriers. You want to visit the mountains after the first mission? Go ahead. There is so much to do in Los Santos too. Visit the strip club (WARNING: unlike Liberty City, Los Santos is a fully topless region), golf, tennis, movies, tv, etc. You can shop to buy each character new outfits or visit a barber to give them a new look. Suspend your disbelief as a beardless character can order up facial hair for a few bucks. Invest in the Real Estate business and buy yourself an income property. Play the stock market, and keep an ear on the fluctuations in game. Some missions may have an affect on stock prices as well. Take your dirt bike off road and explore the wilderness.

Driving:

Driving can still be a pain sometimes, but the mechanics have been vastly improved over the last Grand Theft Auto. Top speeds in some vehicles are quite impressive, while driving large trucks is often very slow, but once at max speed it's hard to stop them. Each vehicle handles differently, so you may want to experiment until you find one you like. Pressing O locks on a target for a mission and it time is slightly slowed down to make maneuvering through traffic somewhat easier. Couple that with Franklin's ability to slow down time while driving and it makes chases fun and exciting. You'll be shouting with joy as you miss close calls and easily make that turn the biker just nailed at 90 degrees. There is Cinematic Camera during some missions that allows you to actual enjoy the action that's going on without having to worry about crashing the car, dealing with traffic, look where you're going, etc. It's easier to switch between the two modes with O. When the action heats back up, switch the camera and jump straight in.

Car Customization is in-depth with 15+ different categories that can be improved or changed. Some categories have sub-categories as well, like choosing different color patterns such as metallic, matte, etc. Some are cosmetic, but many have other benefits as well, like protective armor or better handling. Car aficionados will enjoy tinkering every detail on their car.

Missions:

Missions are filled with great banter and are a lot of fun. While difficult, they are still accessible for even casual gamers. At the end of each mission there is a score based on what actions were completed, such as not receiving a single scratch on a vehicle for instance. This score can range from 0% (though I've always gotten around 50% so far) to 100% for doing each action. Missions can be replayed at any time, so don't feel the need to hit the 100% mark the first time through. In fact, I'd recommend not worrying about achieving 100% and just enjoy the atmosphere and story and come back to it later.

Heists:

Heists are extremely enjoyable and you get your first taste in the introduction. These are in-depth, multiple part missions that let you case the place you're going to rob, select a crew, and determine how you want to approach the robbery and get away with a lot of money. Each crew member has pros and cons, those with less developed skills may take more time to break into a place, but ask for a smaller cut. Likewise, the higher skilled, higher cut crew members could always break in quicker and allow for a bigger payout. During the mission, you can switch between characters as desired to see from their perspective, or to help one of the other guys out of a jam. Have Franklin run in and when he gets into a jam, switch to Michael to provide cover fire and support. After the guys retrieve their score, switch to Franklin to land the helicopter and make their get away.

Rockstar goes outside the game to have an application and website that affects the game, iFruit and LifeInvader (their version of iPhone and Facebook). You can use iFruit to train and improve Chop, a dog that Franklin ends up with. Use LifeInvader to get discounts in game by clicking on the links when logged in and associated with your Social Club account.

Online:

This is not implemented yet, but the released information is making this sound incredible. The transition will be seamless, with the "4th" character being your online persona. You can switch any time (though I'm sure not in missions). Everything you can do in single player mode can be done in the online portion. Up to 16 players are reported as being able to play at once, and you can form a "Crew" on the Social Club area of Rockstar's site to play with friends. Characters are created by selecting two parents and then seeing what the offspring look like. This means you won't see incredibly ridiculous looking characters running around... well, so far as two ridiculous looking parents can create. **Will update once this has gone live**

Audio:

Phenomenal job. Every sound breathes life and atmosphere into the game, whether you're listening to the high quality radio stations or enjoying a stroll downtown. A woman walked by on the sidewalk in high heels I could every "clack clack clack" as she strutted by. I'm playing with a basic stereo set up, so I'm sure it sounds even more vibrant and alive in a full surround mode. The voice actors do a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. I have no complaints here.

Graphics:

It looks like Grand Theft Auto, but better. The structure design and layout is what you'd expect from a GTA, but the textures have been vastly improved. Little details have been added to the world to make it feel more alive, I was noticing drains in the street and small potted plants. These small additions might not seem much, but added up together really enhance the world. I found myself looking at distant building with lights on during the night, or admiring the foliage as I drove down towards the beach. Random NPCs walking around are a bit less detailed than main characters, but have a great variety of different models/looks. The vehicles look better than ever too. Random weather (slow down time with Franklin's special ability during a thunderstorm, it's pretty awesome), night and day cycles, lights with the right amount of bloom to look believe it all helps to pull you into Los Santos. Some of the textures are noticeably low resolution when close up, but thankfully the action is often to frantic and fast paced you won't have time to stare. Also, I have not noticed any lag or hiccups while traversing the world.

**Review Overview**

Graphics: 5/5 The game looks gorgeous. Rockstar truly captured the feel of Southern California and made each location look unique and believable. Cars, characters, waves, the city; it's truly amazing.

Audio: 5/5 Every sound helps make the city feel alive. From the sound of foot steps to the hum of an engine, the acting and the audio is top notch.

Gameplay: 5/5 The improvements are immediately noticeable. Any issues with previous iterations of Grand Theft Auto should be satisfied; the controls are tight and everything feels fluid and seamless. It's a joy to drive, run, shoot, and travel around Los Santos. Those with gripes about GTA IV: this plays and feels much better, cars handle much better. You will not be disappointed.

Story: 5/5 One word incredible. Since the moment I turned the game on I was engrossed with each character and wanting to find out what happens next to our intrepid anti-heroes/criminal upstarts. This is a crime saga that will not disappoint and the characters help to give the story depth and meaning.

Online: N/A I will re-evaluate when it has been released. From all the press releases so far, it is going to be amazing and what everyone has wanted in an online experience from the beginning.

Overall: 5/5 This is the game to own, regardless of what system you have. With limitless replayability, a vast, realistic world to explore, so many things to do, and a AAA story, this belongs in the library of every gamer who does not mind an adult story and content. If you enjoyed the other GTA titles, or you enjoy the action and gripping story of games like Uncharted, Assassin's Creed and/or Red Dead Redemption then get this game.

Picked this game up at midnight. Granted I have a young child and I'm married I wasn't up all night but I have put about 8 hours(maybe 9) into this game so far. After that many hours I've only made 9.8% progress so far(9 hours may not seem like a lot but any given CoD game I would've beat by then and then some). The world is massive. I mean take GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption, combine them and then add a forest. Then you will have GTA V. My time was spent exploring the changing world, taking in sights, getting wanted levels, dying randomly, playing sports and doing misc. civilian missions. I've only seen maybe 7% of the North part of the map(the wooded areas). I can't wait to go hunting either.

With a game of this scale I can already tell I'll be playing it for months without getting bored and don't even get me started on how many times I'll probably replay it. That's saying a lot too, with all the games out there that only last 6-8 hours to get through and after you're done...you've done everything there is to do.

I would say the only downside to this masterpiece is that it's a bit easier to die than it was in previous GTA titles. Which isn't even a downside really, more of a nitpick. They also added the "save anytime' feature except when you're in a mission, which is very convenient. Switching between characters is fun, something that will def. keep the game constantly fresh.

Don't listen to the hipsters who just don't like being part of a crowd, who say this game is a letdown. It really doesn't get any better than this. Coming from someone who loves action, open world and shooter games...this game does not disappoint in any way.

They haven't even introduced multiplayer yet!!

If you have ever enjoyed a GTA in the past you will enjoy this one. ( review edited/updated 9/24)

If you have ever stopped playing GTA due to some frustrating flaws then you may be pleasantly surprised by the changes this time around.

After playing part four there were a few things that turned me off and reduced my playtime. I am so excited to share that two of my main frustrations have been fixed.

If you have been following the media and the leaks on this game than you know it's beautiful and you have a good ideas as to wether or not its something you want to play.

Things I didn't know before:

Probably the single most impressive thing to me that wasn't bragged about is that when you start this game up it will load up your new session. After this you most likely won't see a loading screen again without restarting the game. The world is huge and I have no idea how they have accomplished this.

You will no longer have to drive from your house to the starting point if a mission over and over again each time you fail it. This will save you a large amount of frustration. There is a lot of content here so there is no need for you to waste time with repetition.

You can now completely skip a portion of the mission. If you fail three times then you will be given the option to jump past a portion of the mission and move forward. There is a point penalty but I can be worth it if it saves you from pulling out all of your hair.

Most noticeable improvement.

the cars drive excellently. GTAIV had the cars feeling as if they have four wheel drive while on ice. The cars this time around have a really nice weight to them. It's hard not to feel like you are in a solid racing game while driving around the beautiful city.

Bugs/issues

So far I have not experienced any of the bugs that other people have mentioned on here. The game has not frozen at all for me. In previous games I feel like I used to get trapped when trying to enter cars but so far I have had no issues.

Graphics

This game is absolutely stunning. There is so much detail and you really feel that the city is alive. Ever area seems detailed and important. One thing to note is that if you live or have lived in LA you will feel that you are right at home. They have been able to perfectly condense the city in order for you to recognize your surroundings.

One thing to note is that it is hard to feel sometimes that the game is running completely smoothly. At times the system seems to chug a bit. There are odd little pauses and sometimes textures load a little but blurry for a moment. I want to say that this is not a Viking but rather more of a symptom of this game being designed for more advanced hardware . The hope here is that they are planning for ps4/Xbox one versions but so far there isn't a formal plan announced.

One area where the graphics are behind the earlier games is with the car destruction. It is far less realistic looking but with all of the other advancements that are found here you won't miss it.

More to come

This game has a multiplayer portion that isn't available yet. Rockstar has stated that it should be working in early October. There are a lot of promises for the online portion and when that comes out it should be the icing on the cake.

Having played games for many years, I have come across some good ones, I have found some great ones, and I have those that flop. GTA 4 was a flop to me (though I did enjoy the Lost and the Damned DLC). However after finally getting my hands on this one I would happily rate this one a 5 out of 5.

Performance: When discussing performance along with many other points, I will continually be bringing up the aging consoles. The game runs smoothly, but not always perfect. Rarely but with the right factors, you will notice a slow up of frames. Loading times are hidden with the only one I experienced seeing being when I chose to skip a taxi ride and go straight to the destination. This creates a very seamless feel in trying to keep you in the world as much as possible.

Graphics: Graphically speaking, one must first look at the hardware that is being utilized. With that being said, Rockstar has taken huge leaps and clearly put alot of time into polishing their graphics. The textures are clean and the world is very bright.

Sound: The sound takes some messing with to get everything just how you want it. The sound from my vehicle was at first so loud that I couldnt hear the radio or commentary from pedestrians I passed by. However as always the radio is a staple of humor to an already amazing game. Other sounds that are noticeable go towards making the world seem full. All of the background audio really goes to breathe life into an already visually full city.

Gameplay: This I will break down into subsections to best address each characteristic of GTA.

--The world: Simply put, this world feels vibrant and just overall beautiful. You feel like your in a true city with traffic and pedestrians. The detail given into making this so nicely built leaves me questioning just how much chaos I want to cause while roaming the map.

--Driving: Driving, as stated in many reviews before mine, feels much more refined. While not a complete driving simulation, of which I am thankful for, it does offer a better feeling of weight in your vehicle. This is not to say you wont find yourself fishtailing in certain vehicles but the overall dimensions of driving feels much better. This also goes while riding on a motorcycle. For the first time I truly feel like there is weight to the motorcycle creating a better sense of how you are weaving in and out of traffic.

--Shooting: The Shooting mechanics have been given a decent overhaul as well. You are able to turn on/off aim assist depending on your preferences. The only negative I have found too weapons in the game is that the shotgun is unrealistically accurate even at long ranges and usually will result in a one shot kill.

--Character stats: While very basically put in I have found that I really enjoy progressing my characters stats. Each character has a unique set of skills that make them better in given situations but the ability to progress your characters stats by utilizing the stats makes this a very enjoyable experience.

--The Trio: Rockstars decision to create three versus the usual one protagonist creates a truly different experience. While I have found no character story that I love, I do love having the option of moving away from a character for a time to get lost in anothers story. It also creates interest in just finding out what your other protagonists have been doing with their time while you are away.

--The Story: This part I have not advanced much on but I have overall enjoyed each mission that I have been apart of. I will avoid any details on this though to avoid any spoilers. Still for a GTA game, I find this is the most interesting story they have ever delivered.

In summary, I feel that this is an amazing game. Sure there are some flaws, but the overall game more then makes up for the issue here or there. Rockstar has created a game that, in my opinion, will easily withstand time. This is going to be a benchmark as to how to build a game right. With easy replayability and a multiplayer portion that has not been released yet I expect to put alot of time in this world. I am still early on in the game so I am sure I have missed things, but I hope that this provides a bit of perspective on the game.

--PROs--

+Multiple Protagonists providing different skills and mindsets

+Great Driving Mechanics

+Beautiful living city

+Sophisticated AI: Cops are no longer a joke.

--CONs--

-Occasional framerate drop

GTA V is set in the city of Los Santos based on real-world Los Angeles and its nearby hills and beaches. You can do a yoga lesson or you can rob banks or you can fly a plane or you can play tennis or you can do what I sometimes do which is just cruise round the world in a really amazing car and listen to some of the hilarious radio stations, so there really is everything for you to explore. The game will also let people play with or against one another online, Grand Theft Auto Online, which allows up to 16 players to freely roam a recreation of the single-player setting. From races to bank heists, you can set the stage here. This will definitely become the highlight of the game from customizing your own death-matches and the like. This open-world is indeed huge with most of it being varied between the coast, countryside, and the cities to the hoods of Los Santos. When compared to Grand Theft Auto 4, this game feels more alive and more dedicated that you can't help, but noticed.

Another one of the things they change was ability to skip missions. You can now completely skip a portion of the mission. If you mess more than three times, then you will be given the option to skip a portion of the mission and move forward. It makes it less frustrating to reach certain places after overcoming long scenarios. Unlike GTA 4, you can take your car to the very bottom of the water and you can swim there. Also, if you fly a plane to a military base you will shot down.

The player can set up Michael at a high vantage point with a sniper rifle to provide covering fire for Trevor, who provides a frontal assault on the enemy position, which allows Franklin to manipulate flank points. Rockstar felt that the character switching would eliminate a problem the team felt San Andreas had where the player would be exploring the open countryside and then have to drive a long distance back to a mission start point. In Grand Theft Auto V, the interplay of free roaming and mission game-play is more organic because the player can switch between characters, eliminating the problem. Furthermore, Rockstar introduced a timer that breaks the player's lock on a target after a period of time, in an effort to combat the big problem they felt Grand Theft Auto IV had where the player could "just rely on holding and shooting until a target is dead."

It should be noted that six star system is replaced with a five star system, but the police AI is scary smart sometimes. Don't think you can pull off the same old tricks in Grand Theft Auto 4 because you will be dead. It should also be noted that grey game over screen from Grand Theft Auto 4 is gone and replaced with the wasted screen from San Andreas... Oh... The nostalgia! I could sit and watch the pedestrians talk about random funny as hell lines or I go embark a rampage. There is a endless amount of choices here. Also, wild animals can attack you on the countryside.

The handling of cars in this game is another major blast to Mars from Grand Theft Auto IV. Cops and NPCs can now be flung out of there own cars with a head-on crash and the like. From having the cars feeling like they're moving on a racetrack made of butter(GTA 4)to the weighted, heavy feeling it gives in Grand Theft Auto V. They definitely made an effort to rework the driving mechanics for cars and motorcycles as well. Rockstar mentioned that the cars would handle better than they did in Grand Theft Auto IV, as he felt that they were "big and boat-like in GTA IV" whereas in Grand Theft Auto V the cars handle similarly to those in racing games. I have been waiting to see this change in game play, but something off about the vehicle explosions catching my eye every time.

It is almost like real life, and the amount of things that be done is another step up for Rockstar.

Rockstar makes it known that their set out to perfect a world to the finest touch and be successful at it in the process. Grand Theft Auto V is a perfect example of what can be achieved when you devote the time and effort to truly make something special and not see it as just another lifeless Video Game that attempts to entertain and make time pass. Heists in this game are of a grand scale and well done, but sometimes doesn't not play to your liking. Let's be honest, you're getting 100+ dollars worth of content in this game, and you will be reminded of that as you play along.

Pros:

-Driving long miles in missions are improved.

-Newly added vehicles like the submarines, and some crazy military helicopters.

-Graphics are looking great.

-Gameplay and missions feels fresh with the switch between three main characters.

-A killer story from start to finish.

-Rockstar never goes soft on the humor.

-Content that keeps on giving.(tattoos, haircuts, stock market, races, and etc...)

Cons:

-A few bugs after extensive playtime.

-Some missions may not play out to your liking.

I recently purchased the keyboard from my local store (sorry Amazon--couldn't wait). I reviewed the keyboard on amazon a little under the game listing, so I will try not to repeat everything I wrote under Rock Band 3.

First-It's a ton of fun and really a fantastic addition to the game. I know that not all songs have keyboard parts, so it is a little limiting, but for the songs that have keyboards it's great. I hope they will re-release songs like Journey's Don't Stop Believing and add the keyboard part.

Pro-keys is challenging because there are 25 keys instead of just 5 buttons like the guitar has. You actually have to "practice" to reach expert level. I've been playing piano for 25 years and I have to play the songs a few times just to get through hard level. Of course, that could just mean that I suck after 25 years, but who knows?

I have a feeling the visual part of this will be similar to Pro-Guitar. The screen probably shows about 15 keys (black and white) at a time and then it shifts left to right during the song to show other keys. That is probably the most confusing and difficult part. In the old rockband when playing a guitar or drums, the screen is static and doesn't shift from left to right, but similar to the old rockbands, the notes still come down a sort of highway. You really have to see it to know what i mean. Regardless, it can be pretty hard to keep up with the finger adjustments. It definitely requires some practice.

YOU WON'T LEARN TO PLAY PIANO BY PLAYING THIS GAME. Just thought I'd get that out there. I would take a lesson if you want to learn how to play. The game play doesn't necessarily go along with how you would play it on a piano. They do a good job with the limited amount of keys they have , but if you really play the instrument then you would notice right away. i.e. the song may move an octave higher, but you are moving an octave lower in the game. That's also a little confusing.

Overall, I found it to be a lot of fun and it added a new dimension to the game for me. I'm not recommending the keyboard stand unless you want to sing and play at the same time. I think $30 is a little expensive for a stand. The keyboard is also expensive at $80 by itself, but I still think it's worth it.

Rock on!

Rock band is rock band BUT why in the heck would ANYONE pay this kind of money for this bundle when you can buy the game for $40 and the keyboard for $70 separately. Oh, let's see, let me pay an extra $140 just so Ii don't have to go them separately? Great buy!

Wow... EA are you serious? Sometimes, I think they just needed to fill a PS3 quota with this conversion. I also think they have inexperienced/inadequate development teams working on some of their titles. And apparently, when going in and fixing this or that is too costly or time consuming, they just add a new feature or two to gloss over the remaining crappy elements included in this title. I bought this game with little expectations, I read the reviews and said, how bad can it be? I've played Live 08, and it wasn't that bad. But this is BAD!!! The frame rate, as you may have read is really the issue. Players jerk and jostle about. You'll step out of bounds without trying, get locked into an animation as you go to the net and again, run out of bounds. The opponent double teams and intentional fouls you if you're winning with less than a minute to go which sends you out of bounds to pass it in which is incredibly annoying the 5th time it happens. But it's not all bad. I like the college feel, the arenas feel alive, the mascots, cheerleaders, etc. all feel like NCAA football. The low post play is pretty solid, as you can rely on an easy bucket by flicking the right analog stick when the defense posts up and move right on around him. Most players instead of a dunk do a up and under move that's pretty reliable as well. Still, the frame rate is the biggest nail in this games coffin. And where is the game you see in the screen shots? or even in the in-game opening preview after the title screen? A few more close ups of the pretty decent looking player models would be nice, heck if they can get the graphic quality to anything close to what you see when you win or lose and congratulate the other team, then this might be something to write a positive review about. But nope, it's just skinny kids playing ball. Eh, skip it!

Add-on 8/29: After playing this game awhile, it's starting to grow on me. Yeah the above issues are still there. But, if you slow the game down on the sliders to a snails pace, the gameplay is actually quite solid. I've enjoyed the mini games before each game and I like how it transitions from the playground to the arena, where all the fans cheer or boo as you make and miss shots. The recruiting part is actually kind of fun, sending emails, packages, scholarships, etc. are all fun. And like I said before, as college goes, it's really cool to play in the arena's with the mascots, fans, cheerleaders, etc. That might be because I didn't go to a big school, so I missed out. But I can get it all here in the comfort of my own home. Not a bad game. But still I hear College Hoops is the one to get.

NOTE: I have not played this version yet for the PS3, but for some reason, when I chose the 360, it sent me here. This quick review is only on the 360, but from what I've heard, they are basically the same game but with different controller buttons to do different things.

March Madness 08 offers some neat features this year: 1). The post game is much better than previous versions of MM. Erin Andrews does a fine job of being the sideline reporter, and her presence offers a clean, nice touch to the game. Dickey V. & Brad Nessler give the game the usual collegiate feel, but honestly, I think EA should give the end user (us) the ability to choose different color commentary analysts. As often in the past, the commentary feels too repetitive. It is still better and more collegiate feel than 2K8's. 2). The player models look much better this year, as well as the collegiate arenas. They are almost dead-on! 3). The menu screens are very nice and easy to navigate thru ... ESPN is finally put to good use.

That's really about it, though. Just enough tweaks to get die-heard MM players to spend their money. It's really a carbon-copy of MM 07 if you take away the new post-game features and the slick menu screens. That's not a bad thing, though. Still, as well as the NBA game, if you want the ability to run with many teams, import your created players into NBA 2K8 and get better, accurate gameplay, College Hoops 2K8 is the game to beat. I will give MM 08 a slight edge on overall graphics and menu screens, but it still falls short to CH 2K8.

i am an avid basketball fan and i can't resist basketball games for the playstation 3. i know there is a lot of competition out there with the nba and college games and even streetball. while i stay away from the street versions, i love the college and nba games. well, ea sports has been pretty crummy in the past with their ps3 games (madden 07 mainly) i have played both the 360 and ps3 versions. while i only own the ps3 version, its exactly the same except there are no achievements to boost your gamerscore. while many say the 360 version is better, i don't agree. my 360 recently died to the red ring of death and i am stuck with the ps3 and i love it. so no matter what system you buy this for, its the same game. while the game plays smooth and there are lots of extra features in the game, its still not a very good game. neither is college hoops 2k8 though. i havent seen a good college basketball game yet for the ps3. the game would earn a 4.5/5 overall if it wasn't for the terrible graphics. the players look weird on the court for some reason. they look like walking stick figures my brother said, and i have to agree. the arena details are not there at all. the crowd looks like dots and i understand that, but i am a season ticket holder for the wisconsin badgers with courtside seats and i can definately see how different the kohl center looks in theis game compared to real life. i also watch the kansas jayhawks, ohio state buckeyes and my cousin attends marquette and she is on the dance team which means she attends many of the college basketball games. we both agree there are no arena details. the court looks average though. the sidelines and endlines look verry jagged, but that's no big deal.

so i will sum up the pros and cons of the game:

+around 150 teams to choose from

+game plays smoothly on the ps3

+startup and menus are cool

+difficulty isn't too hard

-arena graphics are terrible. there aren't any to speak of. i don't feel like i am looking at a college basketball game. the arenas look like walls with dots for the students/fans. phog allen fieldhouse looks like a boxed in room.

-free throws can be hard for beginners

overall score:

without including grading of the graphics: 4.5/5

overall with the graphics: 2/5

the graphics are terrible

Imagine a world where you can't die, and only your body can. You are a computerized entity capable of "hacking" into the minds of enemies, controlling them and turning battles in your favor by catching squads of your foes off guard. But, imagine that you can only do this once your host shoots an enemy enough times, is close enough to said enemy, and whose aiming abilities make Shadow the Hedgehog look like Master Chief. Such is the world of the painfully generic MindJack.

Story: D-

To illustrate how important plot is to this game, let me first tell you that MindJack allows players to interrupt your campaign at anytime by "hacking in." This means that your quasi-successful run of a level could, in theory, be ruined by some idiot who doesn't know his rear end from his elbow. Before you ask, YES, that is indicative of how urgent this game's "story" is. From what I gathered, it's about some super-amazing secret agent assigned to escort some woman who has some kind of special ability and a passing resemblance to a loved one, and he's supposed to do... something. Honestly, I stopped paying attention, because the voice acting and dialogue was so pathetic that I stared at the ceiling to keep myself from getting bored. Yes, my dull white ceiling was more engaging than this game's plot.

Gameplay: D

This game is a perfect example of how a brilliant concept can fail miserably if executed wrong. And trust me, it can't get much more wrong than this. The bland, last generation gameplay might be forgivable if FeelPlus had taken the game's main concept a little more seriously and turned it into a compelling element of battle. Instead, they turn it into a sluggish hassle that gives you little motivation to use it, which isn't good considered it's technically the only way to survive throughout the game. Other small things, such as your character walking at a snail's pace outside of battle, and the camera shifting down to the ground whenever you pick up a weapon, become nuisances which further mar what could've been such a great experience. And I refuse to comment on the slapped-on level system, simply because it seems to serve barely any purpose.

Graphics/Sound: They're Bad

Normally, I split the graphics and sound into two more sections and give them their respective grades. In this case, however, I'm willing to make an exception and just be honest: these are both the most laughable aspects of the game. Bland graphics with jagged edges galore are accompanied by the most generic soundtrack this side of a Saturday Night SyFy Original Movie. Problems are worsened to a further degree by the laughable cutscenes, which have some of the worst voice acting since Resident Evil in 1996. It's really sad that a game like this, with a pretty large company putting it out, can scrape by with such dreadful post-production values. Actually, it's not sad: it's embarrassing. Deeply, trulyembarrassing.

Overall: F+

A cool concept, I will admit. If this had been prepped a little more, we would've had a grade-A game on our hands. Instead, we get a rushed piece of junk that will be in the bargain bin faster than the sound of your controller dropping onto the ground as you fall asleep playing this game. And to answer your question, yes, this game made me fall asleep in the middle of a fire fight. So please. Don't let your post-school or after work gaming session turn into a nap. I strongly urge you to play something better, or even replaying a game that you know like the back of your hand. MindJack is a special kind of horrid; it's painfully familiar and dull, and with today's options in the gaming world, there's no reason to spend 60 bucks, or any amount of money, on something like this.

EDIT (7/2/13): A weird time to edit a review, I know, but I had to bump down my score a bit. It remains at a one star for me, but the D+ is now an F+.

MindJack got a lot of grief when it came out, and it hasn't gotten much better. However, seeing it for under $5 one day, I decided to pick up a copy and see just how bad it really is.

MindJack tells the story of a man who's name I can't remember (and that I don't care enough to look up) as he tries to discover what he can, as within the first few minutes of the game he's treated as something of a traitor.

The voice work is pretty horrible at times, so expect to groan.

The mind hacking taking over the bodies of friendlies or neutrals is similar to The 3rd Birthday, with the exception of a pretty poor AI (although left alone for long enough they do a somewhat passable job most of the time) and you won't hear Aya's exclamations of ... whatever. This hijacking requires line of sight, however there also seems to be some percentage of body seen, in order for it to consistently work.

The game is mostly a third-person shooter, with a rather faulty hand-to-hand combat system (although taking someone as a shield seems to work fairly well).

All that said, it's about an eight hour game. However, I've put a little over 20 hours of time into the game. And it's for the same reason I'm going to give the game 4 stars.

The game allows you to play through by yourself, or like Demon's Souls (I apologize if anyone cringes my mention of that in regards to this game), blue or red hackers can jump in. Blue hackers can use any friendlies (and since you consistently have a partner through the game, at least one could play through with you), while red hackers can use any enemies. Red hackers can certainly have an easier time, since there are more enemies than friendlies at the start, but they're unable to jump into most bosses.

You can shut this off if you want, but the real enjoyment of this game comes through in the multiplayer.

Unfortunately there's not too many people playing the game (I'd say maybe a dozen at the time of this review), yet on the other hand they tend to be people that also just picked up the game, making it a fairly 'tight' group of people. In fact, thanks to MindJack I found someone who I'll be keeping an eye on, since we have very similar gaming tastes.

Had the online component not been active I would have given this game 3 stars. However, because of the great community, and the fun I had because of it, I'm giving MindJack 4 of 5 stars. It's certainly not one of their better games, but at $10 or less, it's worth the price, in my opinion.

the idea of the game is pretty cool but the game itself is a lil on the odd side...the graphics are pretty cool but the plot is rather cheesy if not downright retarded at times

They ought to call this WalletJack.

Hard to believe Square Enix could release this in 2011 with a straight face; it looks like a weak game from a decade ago in most every way. The graphics are mediocre, the gameplay sluggish and almost entirely lacking in fun, and the concept of excitement seems to have been lost somewhere. Maybe some other, much finer game company hacked into the Mindjack developers' minds and made them create the most boring, pointless game of the past few years (or more)?

When you walk around, you barely crawl. Hmmm, I must be missing something here...how to make this guy move and keep me awake. I kept hitting L1, L2, then R1, then R2, then my head for renting this joke of a game. If I can save even one person from buying this I will have successfully completed the real task of this game: keeping other fans of intelligent games miles away from ever wasting their time on it.

Elias' review here is perfect and goes into more depth as to why this game sucks. No need to rehash that, just to say: don't waste your time. Aside from the basic idea of hacking into other peoples' minds, there is nothing here, and that concept is treated so shabbily and without imagination as to beg the question: why did this game get released, and what were they thinking when they played it themselves? Did they honestly think this was worth shipping? Have they never seen the Uncharted games, which, though years old now, make this look like Asteroids or Space Invaders, without the fun?

Mindjack is a complete and utter waste of time, and maybe the single most boring video game I've ever played...since Pong.

Let me start by saying that if you did not like Rarona you will probably dislike this game as well. The structure of how the game plays is basically the same: Get quest...synth or hunt to accomplish quest...complete quest by due date. That being said there have been some very effective tweaks.

Improvements:

Characters now have a MP bar! Thank god.

Items in container can be turned in (don't need to be in basket). Huge time saver.

Massive increase in explorable areas.

Multiple towns

Main quest has only one key deadline is reliant on somthing like a trophy system. The more things you do in the game (not just quests)the more trophies you get. Each "trophy" is worth points that allow you to rank up. You need to reach a certain rank by a certain year to keep the game moving forward.

quality of items turned in for quests no longer impact if you complete the quest or not; however they will impact the prize.

Synthed items now have a point system where you can use points to assign traits. You basically will be able to customize each item you synth. The higher the quality the more/better traits you can assign.

There is a End boss!

...and a bonus end boss!

party members come to you and ask for items, you dont need to go to them.

Multiple homonuculus working for you at once!

Overall better balance between exploring, synthing, gathering and fighting.

The one thing I didn't like is how gathering and fighting enemies now use up days. This forces you to decide if picking up items is even worth your time. I could have done without this aspect.

Atelier Rorona was the series first jump to full 3D. While Rorona was good, simple fun it was fairly iffy in visual design and most of the gameplay functionality was a drop down from past games although refocused into an interesting time-management type

Totori keeps the few strengths of Rorona and drops incredible, high polished upgrades on everything else. The visuals, most notably are some of the best on any console for my tastes. Very high end character modeling and everything is well filtered and anti-aliased, rare for a console game.

Gameplay has all been improved too, quest flow to management to balance to feature set is all upgraded, boss fights and dungeons and all of the meat is just so much more cohesive.

In the end this is one of the best niche titles available on the PS3 so if a little frill and lace don't scare you off give it a shot.

Atelier Totori feels like an major upgrade from Rorona. Graphics have significantly improved and look much more anime cel-shaded style at all times. Combat system has been revised from the first game in the series and includes features that streamlines the action. The story seems to be a bit better than the last game but not too far into the game to say too much about it. Synthesizing items still has a role in the game and there is still a time line however. The packaging is much smaller than the other premium edition games of the past such as of Atelier Rorona or Ar Tonelico. The artbook that comes with it is okay but I own the Atelier series artbook so nothing much I can really say here. I haven't listened to the soundtrack CD either but I don't think it can compare to the actual soundtrack. Overall, appears to be a good game if you are fans of the series and JRPGS in general. Just be sure to not play through this game and then go play Rorona or that will take quite a bit of adjusting to.

I love atelier saga, I have been playing this kind of games since the first one I recommend this game because it has many things to do and the story and chats are too funny XD , the only bad thing is if you have not played any atelier game before this game is going to be too hard for you so be careful but nothing is imposible ^^ if you do your best and try hard you are going to be able to clear it ^^

So, i beat this game Last night, or the game ended after 22 hours of play and i lost. Or i should say i ran out of time. This games about micro managing your time and the different challenges that you have to complete to get points for your licences to stay a adventurer. at first your able to basically go about and grind to get these points but by the second half of the game you better have it figured out. It took me a long time to figure out how to get better swords and armor which was my down fall in the end.

This games fun though, the characters are your basic group of cute anime characters, with little to no actual story to hold onto. so you better find them cute or entertaining or something or you'll be pushing the next button a lot. The real problem is by the second half, i started not caring about what was happening, because it started feeling to much like the same same. one of the big reason i think i lost so badly as well.

So, if you like animal crossing, or any of those facebook gardening games this games your ticket. if your like me and you need a little bit more to hold onto, then I'd read about it plenty before picking up a copy. I'm happy i did and the first 15 hours i put into the game i really enjoyed, but I'm not sure if i care to play it again to get the better endings. For the game will just be again the same same.

I give this game 4 stars because i really appreciate that these different style games are coming out in America, and i really did like it until i got bored.

Would recommend for most people to pick up the cheaper version, not the Bundle Edition. It's not really worth it compared to the last ones that came out with the other Nis titles. the books small, and the Soundtrack is most just the back ground music. That said the geek in me had to have it.
